2. Dan in the finale

   To be honest none of the characters should be together. All their relationships are unhealthy. But it's not real life, it's a tv show and they're not exactly gonna have all their characters pair off with random guest stars. So in my opinion that doesn't really matter that much. But even if that did matter, I think DS should be together as they would be better versions of themselves, or at least that's how i see it playing out in my head

   I think he would stop being so much of a dick if he and Serena finally reconciled for good. He'd have to accept the UES and stop having this oversized opinion of himself just because he's not from their world

   I agree that Dan wasn't the best in the finale. He was a complete dick to serena and shouldn't have slept with her so soon after the dissolution of his relationship with Blair, knowing that she was in love him. While I don't think his actions can be justified they can be rationalised and quite easily understood.

   hey guys

    

   @maraki completely agree with you Dan has a right to be pissed off here. He feels like he got used by two people he cares about and who he thought cared about him. He shouldn't have blamed it all on Serena though nor cut her out of his life, but he hadn't exactly had time to digest all that had happened and so hoefully is just reacting from emotion.

    

   He does need to man up, start taking responsibility for his actions  and not blame the UES for everything, and I think Serena's the one who should call him out on his bullshit

    

   I am liking how the show has regressed to S1 though. Maybe it can rebuild properly now, even if it is only for 11 episodes
