I'm still....speechless. I was happy. So happy. And then: boom! Purple everywhere!!
I just miss the times when Blair could speak honestly with Dan the way we haven't seen her speak to anyone. And he has always been there for her. When she needed a scheming friend, a should to cry on, anyone to listen to her and give her advice, she came to Dan. I can't believe, all of that would end up in a trash show provoked by Blair's inability to communicate sincerely, Sereana's inability to find a purpose in life, Chuck's inability to not involve Blair in his family issues, and Dan's inability to see that if Blair can't appreciate his wonderful curls, they are plenty of the girls who would be more than happy to run their fingures through them while Blair is figuring out how to hide the receding Chuck's hairline.
But nooo, no, of course, in two episodes she'll look like she loves Chuck more and more every day, and wants to ditch Dan in any way possible just so she could spend more time with her lovely Chuckles, her dark knight, her destiny
What frustrates me about this scenario is that Dan has given her so many opportunities for an open and honest conversation. More than once he told her that he needs to know if she is on board with the relationship as much as he is and in every single instance Blair has given him an indication that he is the man she wants to be with. I just don't understand it. If she has doubts, than why drag Dan through it instead of breaking off a relationship she may not be fully comitted to?
