    Oh Jesse!  I miss Jesse.  I miss that carefree Xander.  And technically Xander didn't kill them.   Jesse just fell on his stick. I mean stake.   What's the difference between stick and stake anyway?   And now I will go drink tea and stop rambling.

43. OT: BTVS Thread

    Buffy vs. Wolfram & Heart sounds interesting.   Hope she doesn't become the new CEO like Angel back in a day :)

    I'm actually really interested in the whole Angel, Willow, Faith and Conner storyline in the hell dimension.   These 4 characters (actually even just 3 minus Conner) have such weird connection to each other, it is just amazing to watch.  Willow restored Angel's soul.  Twice.  Angel and Faith are pretty much kindred spirits.   And Faith and Willow never really got along and now are completely on opposite sides given Faith is a slayer and Willow is uber evil.    Faith and Angel also have own demons to fight and it will be interesting to see if Dark Willow plays on that and brings out the evil in th 2 of them as well.    Dark Willow can be manipulative Willow even more so than Angelus.

    I'm also watching True Blood!   Eric and Bill were pretty awesome in the premier.  I agree.  They are more watchable when they are not pining over Sookie.  Eric was sexy and funny and horny (classic Eric basically).   Bill was Bill, bu† more badassy like.

    Buffy defeated the freaking Original Evil. Of course she can take Damon down. It is not all about physical strength. Physical strength is just a tool. Buffy didn't survive all these years simply on that. She couldn't have. Watch the epie with Vamp Williw in it.

    The only thing that Damon got going for him is ability to compell. The Master killed Buffy by hypnotising her first. Dru killed Kendra by hypnotising her. That seems to be the only effective weapon against slayers in BTVS. But lets face it if Damon could compell Buffy she'd be on vervain, so wouldn't matter.

    Bored Now, I disagree. I think Buffy held very strong principles. She killed Angel because it was the only thing to do to save the world and therefore it was the right thing to do although a world without Angel lost meaning to her at that time. She made mistakes sure. But she was not Faith who faltered under pressure of responsibility and isolation and immense physical power. Buffy could have become like Faith. But the fact is she was different.

    Well except for her giving up once in seasin 7 when Spike talked her out of feeling defeated. But even then she didn't go on a killing of the innocents spree because her friends and family were mean to her. Even in her lowest, Buffy was so far, far, far above Damon.

    Damon to Buffy is what horse poop is to ice cream. Buffy was a hero. Someone who inspired people because she never gave up on fighting, on standing up for her convictions no matter how inconvenient they were to others, or how hurt or beat down she got. The fact that she did it without losing her faith in doing the right thing or losing her humanity is what made her amazing. Damon is just a walking disaster lacking purpose. Much like Elena. How could there even be a comparison?

    Elena, was your last book 50 shades of grey? I am still trying to erase what i read out of my brain. That will teach me to research books before reading them.
