GGW taking over Blair Waldorf's body

Exactly, Lolita! Jenny actually deserves to be Eleanor's successor because unlike Blair the girl showed talent, ability, abd drive to go after a set goal. Her ways of getting there were sometimes questionable, but Jenny has always been dedicated to having a career in fashion. Blair - never. Just shows how useless Blair has become as a character aside from being stuck in love triangles. It is a shame really. Blair has been stripped of her integrity, ambition, self respect, and wit from season 3 - 5. In season 4 she started to regain some of it, but then threw it all away to be a princess.

GGW taking over Blair Waldorf's body

So what is it that Blair wants? I am still not sure as beyond that statement she didn't really clarify.

GGW taking over Blair Waldorf's body

Question: did Blair graduate college, proves herself in a work environment, showed interest in anything other than keeping 3 guys believing they have a shot? Answer: No Conclusion: Eleanor wants to lose business, sell it relatively well to a competitor, and retire early somewhere warm and calm.

OT: OUAT

Flora, I meant not everyone forgot who they were with the original curse. Mad Hatter disn't. Blue Fairy is a question mark. Definitely not Regina or Mr. Gold. The curse did not effect everyone differently and I am not sure if we will ever find out why.

OT: OUAT

I love the shows that are exploring the core of humanity through metaphors and allegories. It is what I loved about Buffy. This is my post Buffy fix.

OT: OUAT

I liked the ending. There are so many unanswered questions: the book, Henry's father, why some remembered who they were while others didn't, good vs evil and the nature of evil in itself, the idea of happily ever after and the role that magic plays in the world, and what the source of magic is. This show has so much to explore. At least at this point, I feel like it has a good second season coming.

GOT fans?

I am haver through reading the first book. The series is great but a bit bloody for my whimpy taste. Still planning to watch the finale though. I love and hate Cercei.

Dare to Dair?

I never got into Girls. Living in NY it is just not all that exciting for me. Friends, SITC, and Will & Grace were much better NYC shows. GG started out great because it was different. It was a guilty pleasure where lives and misdeeds of UES teens were an addictive entertainment and then the show became about Chair, Chuck became a tortured antogonist from a fun bad boy you loved to hate, Blair went through 50 shades of personality alterations, Serena and Nate had no storylines aside from making their contribution in trying to increase the Earth's population, and everything turned to horror. I give up on NYC shows. I prefer sci-fi these days. Love Doctor Who, Merlin, and Joss Whedon's Buffy and Firefly. I started to rewatch Buffy and it is like panacea for my GG murdered brain cells. Also for fairy tale no thinking required, I love Merlin.

Season 5 was my favorite

Lets see: Blair got pregnant outside of marriage, didn't know who the father was, lost the baby while on the run with another man, didn't really care, but made a deal with God so he'd let Chuck live because God would punish her Blair by killing Chuck otherwise (can I just say mo wonder the girl didn't make it to Yale), started an affair with a man her bestie was in love with only to dump him for a guy who told her to take a hike. Yeah, this Blair centered season was fantastic!

I am bored so please let me know a littel about you?

Amie, I love the Russian books you listed.   Master and Margarita is probably one of the best books I have ever read.  I want to re-read it actually.   Have you ever read Children of Arbat books?   I am currently reading it and it is really good.
