  1. GGW taking over Blair Waldorf's body

Teacakes, personally I don't think Blair is out of character. Or ever has been. I take whatever was written for her as part of her character some if which i don't like. Blair never once mentioned wanting Waldorf Designs. And moreever she demonstrated neither qualifications, drive, or ability to run a multimillion dollar company. As for her wanting Chuck, it would be fine if she didn't involve Dan and lied to him continuously for no reason despite Dan asking her point blank if she wanted to be with him or not. That was just low. Blair going after what she wants would be fine, however to me at least that became meaningless. What she wants at the start of season and the finale are often different things. So what's the point of investing in her character?

  2. GGW taking over Blair Waldorf's body

I don't know if Blair is out of character or not. It is subjective. Besides everything this season pointed to her character being a certain type of character I do not like. Blair as a likea le character ship has saled a long time ago and season 5 was just a final nail in a coffin. There is nothing about Blair that I find appealing anymore. Dair was entertaining for me because we saw a lighter side of Blair not burdened and tortured with crap of her unsuccessful attempts to fall out of love with Chuck despite Chuck beig Chuck. Finale obviously changed that. As for Blair being handed Waldorf Design in this situation: the girl couldn't make a stable and reasonar decision all year long and only by some miracle not bankrupted Elenor. Prime candidate to run a company? You bet according to GG. So no I dont care if Blair is OCC. It is her chacterization as a whole and the direction her character has been given that I don't like.

  3. Dare to Dair?

Thanks but no thanks. Dair was the only reason I watched. I guess it's time I got in touch with my demographic and moved on.

  4. Dare to Dair?

Lets all look on a bright side: for a handful of episodes, Dair was real, amazing, and had organic chemistry and scene stealing charm that no amount of Chair being shoved down our throats as some epic romance could take away. We will always have Dairport and Blair bantering about Dan's driving. Hate that the writers killed the best thingyhey have created for some notion of all consuming love crap

  6. Your opinion on the finale

Truth? I did see it finally. Dramawise, i think it was good. Consistency wise it was like the past 5 years hadn't happened. All history has been forgotten, all progress has been abandoned, all characters have been unmade. A part of me likes angry Dan at the end of the finale because I identify with him after watching this and can't wait for him to destroy every single reputation of the Upper East Siders who essentially destroyed the Humphrey family through their games of powerful and bored. I feel lik the Humphries got used and disposed off when no longer needed. That makes me sympathise with them. A part of me also likes Serena on crack, because that Serena is unpredictable and she got also burned by Dan and Blair, 2 people she could always depend on, which makes her a woman on the verge of major life crisis. Not at all interested in Chair. I think the relationship sucks the life out of both characters, so not really looking forward to that but then again don't really care. I need Dan to make things painful for these people next season and sounds like he is on the right track. No more Mr. Nice Guy.

  8. This ridiculous piece of shit.

To be honest I think many Dair fans expected to be screwed in the end but not like that. At this point I wish they ended with a video revelation. People were upset but at least that was understandable. The finale was a punch below the belt. Out of the blue. It also painted girls/women as deceiptful and petty, but no judgment.

  9. Remember Blair Waldorf we all knew and loved?

Lets face it, the day Blair's character died was the day she decided that being traded for a hotel was totally forgivable.

  10. Remember Blair Waldorf we all knew and loved?

Thing with the hotel is Chuck double crossed B and humiliated her in the worst possible way. Season 1 Blair would not only NOT forgive that, she'd take Chuck's hotel away from him herself and would have made him pay till there was no Chuck Bass left.
