She should have stayed a protestant.
It doesn't matter as long as she isn't a mormon.

I've not watched it, but on face value it's not a ridiculous premise. Firstly, cast your minds back to the beginning of 1/08 when Blair desperately ashamed at having let vulgar, nouveau-riche Chuck "manky-STD-penis" Bass take her virginity, instead of somebody of proper UES stock, visits the confessional. Blair also displays many symptoms of the "convenience conservative", like adherance to and disobedience of elite social structures depending upon what works best for her at the time. Blair's ultimate calling is as a Republican politician and her born-again Catholicism is going to help her with that.
If this were actually true then I think it would be very good news for the quality of the show. However, GG's Producers have always employed more spin than Shane Warne, so it should definitely be taken with a pinch of salt, then a tequila shot and a slice of lime.
I'm sticking with me boy Quentin Tarantino and going for Superman.
I went to the zoo the other day and since then I've realised that I really like Tigers. I hope they can somehow introduce a wild Tiger into the royal wedding. That would be fun.
(On a separate note, does anybody else think that Gary from Team America looks like Dawson van der Beek?)
Is Louis really in love with her or just a psycho?
I never did get how Louis went from seeing Blair in a Paris art gallery to being a pussy-whipped eunach.
We still believe in love,
so fuck you!
I really like the scene in High Society where Dan comes to Cotillion and whisks Serena off her feet, whilst Lily watches from the balcony. I'm a soppy romantic at heart, but only to a point - over-do the cheese and I switch off faster than my phone after a Facetime call. That scene worked so well because it felt real, so much of GG these days falls down, because it just feels silly.
Apart from that scene I really like the Dan / Jenny / Rufus interactions from S1/S2, as well as Nate and Jenny in the lead-up to the Guerilla fashion show. That's the ultimate natefused, just along for the ride experience.
I apologise in advance for the length of my post. I'm also still struggling to come to terms with the new formatting on the site, I'm not here very often any more.
