      And whereas I do like the TVD forum here and share most of the opinions posted, I find the forum quite intimidating, for some reason. Idk, I randomly think that everyone's gonna be hostile and unwelcoming to the newbies. :-/

       

      Well, it takes some time to get used to I agree, for me it took some time to get into the discussion and "meet" the users there. But the discussions are really interesting and there are people who post very thoughtful and wise comments because they really care about the show overall. I really like that there people really discuss what is going on the show, the characters and how everything connects or does not connect...and the DES triangle is really like a secondary topic, and there are practically no intense ship fights. And as long as you post something that makes sense and you stand by it, there is really no reason for anyone to feel unwelcome...I mean obvsly some users know each other better because they follow each other on Twitter or also chat and post on tumblr. Well, all I say is I enjoy the convesations we have there, and if you want to share your ideas and feelings towards TVD, why not? =)

      I wonder if Klaus will try to use the bond to keep Tyler away from Caroline...

      I really hope he doesn't because he is not some lame teenager trying to gain the upper hand because he is stronger, plus Caroline will notice it, I think. However, that said, when Klaus gets into that "I will end you now" mood, that uncontrollable state of mind...I think he could use that as a last resort option.... but I put my money Klaus setting Tyler up so that he does something that will discredit him in Caroline's eyes but not through the bond, because that would be too obvious.

      It sounds like it will be a very difficult spot for Tyler. Also, notice the wording. It doesn't sound like Tyler is completely disconnected to the sire bond just yet.

      And I am sure Klaus can find some way to increase it again if he wants to...oh boy, sounds like things are really gonna get interesting when Tyler shows up, forget Elena choosing between two doormats, I am really looking forward to Forwood scenes with Klaus thrown in the mix.

      The TVD forum is quite active and there are threads for Games of Thrones and Revenge.

      Not to mention people there spend more time discussing the actual plot, not just threads dedicated to ships. GG forum became really boring for me because its main threads are dedicated to ships, no one really talks about the what is happening to the actual plot of the show. I mean just look at the first page and its always the same - Chuck and Blair 2.0, Derena needs to get back together, Dare to Dair, Nair, Serenate and a few other threads dedicated to the other couples on this show. I am not bashing anyone here, I simply stating that the writers of GG have left the remaining fans of this show to worry about who ends up with whom, but almost the entire essence of GG and its main topics has been forgotten. So that is why I think it is so different when you compare forum people and the viewers, because we who post here are a tiny portion of those who watched GG simply for entertainment purposes, not to come here and share our thoughts on the show.

      @teamstelena, you entire post summarises perfectly well how many of us feel here. About the Delena fans's comments, yes, those ones that relate to things like OMG THEY ARE SO HOT AND THEY HAVE SUCH GREAT CHEMISTRY, and my personal favourite THEY HAVE THIS DEEEEEEP CONNECTION AND FEELINGS, which makes me laugh and sad that this is what some people see as real love today. However, sensible Delena fans bring in good reasons and they can be respected for that because while defending their ship they are not simply bashing Stelena on some lame 13yearold reason like those mentioned above. I don't hate delena, I just have my reasons for why I think she should choose Stefan IN THE END and why they are meant for each other. Personally I think a lot of delena fans are primarily made of Damon/Ian fans, however it seems to me that they imagine more than what they see. No doubt Elena cares about Damon, no doubt she is drawn to him, no doubt he "has gotten under her skin" as she has confessed in the last episode. But is that love? That is where the root of the problem is. Many people define love for themselves in a different way. For me from what I have seen, it is not love. Another issue I have is with Elena herself, I prefer book Elena to tv Elena because book Elena had character, she was a real strong willed woman. Book Stefan loved her because she made him feel again and Damon loved her because she was smart and had a dark side. There I could understand why Elena fell for both brothers. Here, it varies from week to week. All I can say now is if Elena chooses Damon in the end, its not going to be the end of the world for me. It actually makes me believe that there is more hope for Stelena to come out in the end because come on, great love stories are filled with obstacles along the way and it would be too easy for them to be together again just like that.

      @kap21, oh gosh, I wish we could edit our posts cos I said one thing then deleted some other stuff and in the end got that. What I was trying to say is of coarse people will always compare shows with regards to the characters and their love stories, I see the point you made about similarities. However, I think sometimes people misunderstand that not every love triangle has the same ending as in a compared show or whether it should have the same outcome. Damon, Stefan and Elena, while having a few similar characteristics to the characters in Dawnson's Creek, their relationship is developing in completely different circumstances and its not three human beings in a love triangle, its actually one girl human being and two vampires, two mosters... truth be told. So that is why I don't think that it is really useful to make these comparisons.
