probably the same place where Elena's family fortune is from, lol...... BUT my main question is not even where their income comes from since ok, probably their family wealth grew over the years..BUT who the fuck cleans up that MANSION because houses like these accumulate dust in a blink of an eye and just wondering if they have like a maid or something but probably not.

Hey you should do one friendly reminder that Matt now has the biggest house in MF and a new truck too.Guy went from being broke to prolly the richest guy in MF lol.
I doubt he is THE richest...Klaus and the Salvatores are prolly THE richest, but Matt has THE BIGGEST mansion for sure with like loads of land....and a fountain and pond with Ty-Ty's fav fishies...
Thats whats compulsion for lol.....But its not like Elena or her friends ever had any plans for college in the first place so..

Idk,even tho she seemed intrigued by the idea of getting out of MF.....She didn't seem too eager to leave MF when she had the chance(Prolly bc she didn't want to leave her friends in danger)....Most prolly they'll all leave MF for College(ROFL) next season
Well first of all I highly doubt any of the colleges would accept these kids since they show up like 5 times a year to school....if this were a show that was friends with logic
BUT
And this is what is the most bizzarre about this show - they are soo stuck on MF like its the best place ever and blah blah blah...but I mean, and again I am sorry to bring up the books, but I just have to because these characters clearly don't give an F about their town in the sense that they all come from founding families, their community is really not big, so they are supposed to be tight and really close - but all I have seen for the past 3 seasons is no care what so ever - I mean they don't even bother about keeping a low porfile since like ever....even Liz Forbes's whole rant about the blood being stolen is useless cos you have one Liz who is concerned about it and then the Salvatores who were like Oh shit yeah we might have actually more problems to deal with than curing that hobo girlfriend of ours....So what I am trying to say is I don't see any reason for these kids to have any difficulties in leaving MF because c'mon they clearly could not care less what happens to the town and at the same time the show is trying to make it look like they do. The books covered this - because every single time book characters had to deal with anything they always thought how would this reflect on their town, on their friends and family - their community. But then again reality and supernatural elemens are not friends on this show as logic and reasoning are so, yeah......
