@splendore: To answer your question on why HBO only produce a certain amount of episodes is a mystery to me too. I just know that they always stick to the same amount or eventually reduce it. For example: Six Feet Under always had 13 episodes until season 4 and 5, they reduced it to 12 for both seasons. However, something like Oz had 8 episodes per season, with the exception of season 4 that had 16 episodes. I guess HBO give each shows a certain amount that the writers request or that they feel is necessary. All I know is that I don't question HBO because they're an amazing broadcasting station and have produced some of the greatest shows in the world. :D
I actually agree.
There will be another 8 years (after season 4) and possibly more if the writer keeps going. I think they should do 24 a season by dividing them into 12 episodes for a book each.
Doing something like a Part A and a Part B per book of the seasons. Because I for one and going to wanna see this show go all the way to the end. No, I don't wanna seem them rush it, but I'd like to see them complete it. Otherwise, the actors and actresses within the show are probably going to want to leave after season 6, 7, etc.
I have a feeling it's Tara. She's gone through so much and left Bon Temps at the end of season 4. She may return with a friend that may progress into a lesbian relationship or do you think she'll be a lesbian when she returns?
I hope they're all at CU. I think it was a ridiculous move to get rid of them all in the first place. Just bring them back already. :p
As for Annie and Liam, I hope they're not broken up. Another silly move there. Why break them up in the finale, over for them to get back together and then split up again? Another deja vu moment for 90210.
Question: Is Trevor Donovan the only cast member being cut from 90210?
Ausiello: As of this writing, yes, it’s just him. However, you’d think the show was undergoing a more massive overhaul based on the slew of new recurring characters being introduced in the fall. Among them:
| Austin: A charming and hunky cowboy à la Brad Pitt in Thelma & Louise. He’s the son of a country music superstar. As such, he’s wealthy, but not in an obnoxious way.
| Holly: Naomi’s super-wealthy, sorority-obsessed archrival at California U.
| Jasmeen: Navid’s 18-year-old troublemaking, self-absorbed younger sister.
| Gabe: The anti-Liam in that he’s friendly, outgoing and extremely communicative. An upperclassman at CU, Gabe forges an instant connection with Annie — but he may have an ulterior motive.| Jane: A mysterious new love interest for Liam who became a widow at a young age. Think Ingrid Bergman in Casablanca.
No offence, but I think you have a wrong source. Simply because there is in an exact same image of these characters, dressed like this for a season 3 photo shoot. Not to mention, this is the cast for season two. So this cast photo is obviously not a season for photo. Sorry. :\
DON'T cut any characters. Just make them all stay in 90210! It's a simple and easy task.
If they cut Liam, they'll be pulling a Ethan 2.0. They cut Ethan to replace him with Liam. So deciding to cut him would be stupid. What will they do then? Introduce a Ethan 3.0? Just complete and total idiocy.
Thank you @Catilyn.I completely agree. I don't wanna get on the abortion topic, but if Cristina doesn't want it, it's her decision. If Owen loves her, he'll respect it. However, I get his point because I would want my wife to have it, so yes, it makes me a hypocrite. HOWEVER, he knew what he was getting into with Cristina. He knew she didn't want kids. She even mentioned it in the OR once in season 6 with Teddy and another cast member present.
I know that Cristina could be a good mother, because she's a competitor, which means she'd try. HOWEVER, Cristina as a mother is a no go. I just cannot happen.
I read that they're kicking more people off the show for next season. Sending the teens to different universitys and not bringing them back. I personally hope it's not any of the original 5 that are left. I will stop watching if it is. No joke. This show is annoying me with it's constant cast changes throughout it's 3 year span.
If they do dismiss anyone, it better be Ivy or Teddy. I like the rest of them. Hopefully they add Max into the main cast. I love him and Naomi and they're made for one another. They're literally perfect for one another. I've never seen such great chemistry between couple on TV. They're literally what you call a "match made in heaven".
I miss Heroes! Season 5 needs to be picked up. I know it's late, but something needs to be done to conclude it. If Chuck can get a renewal for 13 episodes for a fifth and final season (even though it's ratings are just as low as Heroes), than surely Heroes deserved it.
