The thing that makes me laugh even more about some fans is that they are still super obnoxiously defending Chuck/Chair as the best thing ever, even though the spoilers have said Chuck will do something so bad to Blair that everyone will hate him.
So for doing something terrible and unforgivable, he should get another free pass from Blair, all other characters and us the audience and Chair should get back together ASAP anyways?

I couldn't agree more WKA.
To me, it's very unequal, Blair tries way harder than Chuck and it's terribly hard and sad to watch and the thing that's even worse about it, is that for all her hard work she get's nothing in return, all Chuck has to do is say 'I love you too' and the whole world coo's and awh's and loves him.
He did some pretty bad stuff before that.
But Blair said I love you like a hundred times before and after that and everyones like- yeah, whatever, cool.
The writers are giving Blair's character no credit, she's just there to whine and moan and make us see what a changed man Chuck has become, it's exhausting.
I look forward to seeing if Blair becomes as awesome as she once was when Chair break up, at least then I will finally understand what the hell happened to her.
It's clear he wasn't insulting her, she wasn't there and he was saying it in like, an affectionate way which was obvious.
I agree with lara, rather than questioning the elephant part, question the whole thing, it was a very wierd thing for him to say not because of Blair just because it was was utterly random.
The making Blair insecure idea is very over-analysed. Silly too.
^I'm a Chair fan and Chair fans who would like to see Dair as a couple aren't complaining about Chair's relationship, and it's not that were not happy, it's just accepting that Dair will probably happen, and not seeing that as an awful thing. Seeing it more as a new interesting paring that could be great given the chance.
Chair wont be together from now until season 5 or 6 or whenever the show ends (although they will be end game and I want them to be.) and the writers have said in the past that they want to try everyone with everyone. So it's going to happen.

Okay, basically my reasoning for wanting a future Dair hookup would be that I simply could never imagine them happening, from the differences in their characters and personality to their status’s and because of that I feel like they could be amazing. I know there are alot of people who never expected Chair to happen and they did and look at their fan base now.
I myself am a Chair fan and would love them to be end game, yet I can still admit that other ships, whether it be Dair or Nair or whatever could be good. I think a main reason for Chair fans alike myself to not want Dair to happen is because if Dair does happen there is a big possibility that Chuck would end up with somebody else for a time, if not just for revenge then simply because he likes someone else and because Blair was the one that tamed Chuck and was the only one he ever really wanted, him in a relationship with anyone but Blair makes what they had seem alot less special.
Like others have said, Chair wont be together for the whole show, so why not give Dair a shot at some point? Otherwise it will just be random Nair on/off-ness along with continuous guest star relationships and Chuck man-whoring all over New York. Like for example most people hating Vuck, myself included, but if it never happened, we would never know we didn’t like them if we hadn’t seen it and the same goes for Dair.
I have to add that Blair definitley felt better about herself during her two week rendevous with Chuck, and Chuck did try, although in not very nice ways to get Blair to stay away from him when he was having a break down. I feel like the writers want Blair to be her own puch bag and the whole masorchist thing get's awfully tiring. They want to keep her insecurities known to the viewiers so they can make her have panic attacks now and then to dramatise everything by adding them randomly into the storyline. The writers seem to hate happy Blair.
It seems kind of like every ep they're going to try and face a CB issue, trust in the first ep, being competitive in the second (with the painting), whatever happens in the third, and now being selfish and schemeing with no regard for the other's feelings-i say this because clearly if Blair's going to freak it can't be something she would want but Chuck does it anyway.
I don't know, I mean I like that this season will go through and work out CB's issues or w/e, I just wish it was a little slower, with a little less pointless arguements, this seems a little too rushed to get them out of the way.

I think what Tammy and lara mean is just that everyone should be individual characters but just write when they want to write, not have to wait for their individual turns.
