1. Calling all Gizzie Friendship (or more) Fans!!!

   What are you talking about??

   When I read the article with KH I thought: Gizzie fans must feel really stupid right now. Even KH admitted that Gizziie was a huge mistake, let alone making fun of the nickname itself. But you guys have your own world, don't you?

   Marina, it was never said that sex with George was like finding home. It was never said George was her true love. Neither her nor George mentioned this whole relationship after they broke up. Izzie admitted to Derek and Bailey that Alex is the love of her life. I personally think Denny was, because she would leave Alex behind with no regret if Denny would show up in her life alive again.

   George and Izzie never missed each other as lovers past season 4, only as friends. They only had good sex once, when they were drunk. And how can you guys even use the word "pure" in reference to them when the whole "relationship" was a result of adultery? When Izzie stalked George and practically made him cheat on Callie again? When all she ever did was force the poor guy to ditch Callie and be wiith her, not even considering Callie's feelings?

   I hope your husbands or boyfriends won't find their "Izzie", because I bet you wouldn't say: "well, they're each others home, what can I do?". You guys are really ridiculous.

   Jeez, people, easy. As you said this is a soap, not a morality review,  so you really need to chill down before you kill me with your bare hands for having a different opinion on the TV character.

   I told you at the beginning why I posted here, so It's a shame you missed that.

   And as for your litany on characters that commited adultery... well, as far as Mer is concerned, she didn't follow Derek around after the prom night, asking: have you broken up yet? She backed off, and Derek was the one who made a decision and came to her.

   And as for your safe haven for Gizzie fans... well, George's fans kept trashing other threads with their complaining after he was killed off, so you are setting up double standards: you can whine about George everywhere, but your thread is sacred?

   And Aubrey, don't you tell people where they should or shouldn't show up. And "thanks" for tolerating me this time!!! I feel really blessed!

3. Calling all Gizzie Friendship (or more) Fans!!!

   I am writing in this thread because I have a question to Gizzie fans, and I know I can find them here:)

   I was just rewatching some episodes from season 4 (I was really curious why people love Gizzie so much!). The whole storyline with their relationship was just... horrible to me. What Izzie did to Callie was awful. After the drunken sex, George did not want to leave Callie, he wanted to do the right thing, but Izzie was forceing herself on him non stop. And later, when they decided they want to be together, the way she followed George around asking constantly if he told Callie yet was horrible... She did everything she could to make him break his marriage. What kind of a woman does that? Everything Callie told her after the cafeteria episode was true - she did use the fact she was his best friend, and she went behind Callie's back. And she humiliated her so much! She didn't, even once thought about Callie's feelings before the cafeteria episode. OMG, I would die if I were Callie, she was treated awfully.

   How can you guys justify what Izzie did? I totally was with Alex when he said he was too ashamed for her to tell anyone. I don't care if Alex cheats on her, because I lost all respect for this character after she intentionally stole somebody's husband.

4. Cristina and Owen!!!

   The kiss was amazing! Especially the second part of it. You can tell they're so in love and irresistable to each other. Cristina barely stood straight in his arms! I loved this episode.

5. Owen and Cristina

   I don't think he was tempted by her (yet...). He brought her to SGH as a present for his girfriend, so there were no feelings for her at all. I think after she left him on the bench he was surprised/shocked and sad that he makes her suffer in some way. She misunderstood his feelings towards her so he probably blames himself for creating a hope in her.

   But, as in real life, if someone declares feelings for you, you start to see him/her differently. There will be tension because they are no longer "just friends".

   I hope Cristina and Owen will stay together forever and Teddy may be an obstacle, but nothing strong enough to break them up. I don't think writers spent WHOLE season to put them together in order to just break them up over someone else. At Grey's, the couples that take long to get in to a relationship last longer than those who just "happen" out of nowhere. George and Callie were married after what? 10 episodes? But MerDer or even Burke and Cristina had plenty of ups and downs, but stayed together.

   And also: I know that Teddy's been around for one episode only so there's not much to say about her yet, but I really would like to see her with Mark:)

   I am not quite sure if it's "never gonna happen", but still... I would like Alex to be with Reed. She really seems to be falling in love with him, he was horrible to her and she didn't give up on him (just like Izzie used to). I would like them to couple up also because it is high time Izzie noticed what she has to lose. She's totally taking Alex for granted. He's been nothing but supportive during the cancer stuff and he even married her so that she could have her perfect wedding (ok, this is not the only reason but he wouldnt even think of marriage if it wasn't for MerDer). And Izzie? She basically cheated on him with Denny, didn't tell him about her illness, not to mention leaving without a word and ignoring him in the last episode.

   I think that interest in Alex shows a different part of Reed - if it wasn't for that she would be just another Mercy Wester, a bitchy one. I think they would be cute together. Alex deserves some happiness... He hasn't been happy for a long time... I don't think he was ever happy.

8. Worst Relationship and why?

   For me, the worst relationship was George and Izzie. It was like the creators wanted to do something shocking, that no one was expecting, but it didn't work out well. First of all, it ruined their friendship, and proved that it is better for the show if some relationship stay platonic, and not everyone has to date, just because they're currently single. And second of all, it was plain weird, sibling-like. As far as I'm concerned Gizzie had no chemistry whatsoever. I find it strange, that Gizzie fans keep on writing about their wonderful chemistry while it was clearly stated in the show, that lack of chemistry was their main problem. It was the reason they broke up, right? They never had good sex, apart from the first drunken one, they felt a bit embarassed during intimate moments. The characters themselves said, there was no chemistry! I don't really see why people think otherwise.

9. Inconsistencies in the plot/background

   I always wonder about the age difference between Lexie and Meredith. Thatcher left Ellis when Mer was five; adding at least a year before Lexie could be born (for him to meet his second wife and her pregnancy) that makes 6 years of age difference. However, Lexie's only one year younger carreer-wise than her sister (she's a second year resident, Mer's third). Adding a margin of two years (we know Lexie skipped third grade and Mer had a gap year before going to med school when she travelled through Europe) that still makes too small difference. It was once mentioned that Lexie was 24. Izzie, at the same time was 29 - Mer must be around the same (although it was stated that it took longer for Izzie to graduate than for her friends... So she should be older than them). I'm confused:)

10. Cristina and Alex

    Would anyone else like to see these two become close friends? I noticed they recently started to bond with each other, while before there was a lot of histility and competitivness between them. They are similar in many ways: they both are sharp, they can be insensitive, they hate to talk about feelings, they always try to seem like they don't care. Normally, it's Mer who always seemed closest to Alex, and she was the one who sort of encouraged everyone else to be friends with him (neither George, nor Cristina were a big fan of him).

    Right now, these two seem to be more comfortable with each other, and they start to talk about personal stuff too. And, back in season 4, they admitted to one another: "I miss Rebecca", "I miss Burke", while all the episode they pretended to everyone else they don't give a shit about them anymore.They have a special connection on some level.

    I hope to see more of their bonding time - Alex will need it now that Izzie left.
