@ Ravenhill: That sorta shouts Peter and Arthur Petrelli to me, because apart from Hiro and the Haitian, who else has enough power to challenge Sylar? He doesn'y want Peter's because he had a version of it (which I think is how Peter's should now develop since we know it exists) and rejected it, and I don't think he'd particularly care for Arthur Petrelli's way, stealing the power without getting your hands dirty.
sorry AHeroesChick, i was calling Peter naive, not you, i understand your arguments :) but our Peter has always been a bit on the gullible side...
A time travelling Sylar is a scary thought. Don't think he'd kill Arthur, i mean if he really wanted his power he could've had it once he was dead, I mean the Haitian was too tired after blocking Arthur for so long to stop Sylar too. I think Sylar is happy where he is at the moment, can't really see what he'd use TT for...
@ AHeroesChick seems slightly naive, given that Sylar could've just slit Peter's throat the minute the block was lifted. But ah well, never mind.
@ Ravenhill yeah, that makes sense, since he has to be high on a number of dangerous hero's hit lists, and I think Sylar wouldn't mind taking a look at a slice of his brain. There's also proof that the Haitian can control his power in season 2 (I know it was god awful and we all want to forget it...) when he and Elle are chasing Peter and Adam Monroe Elle could shoot lightening but Peter can't just turn round and kick her ass with his combined powers.
But if Peter doesn't regain his original power, Renee's power would be a good one to keep, at least until Sylar is out the picture, cus that way he can protect dear old Mama Petrelli
the guy in the back of the truck was the one who was beating on Samuel. Umm, Claire has nothing to fear from Becky, she can't die, and I highly doubt Becky knows about the Regeneration weakpoint, since if the had a Regen in the carnival, Joseph would still be alive. but what I most liked about this episode that Sylar is now unhindered, and knows about the Carnival. Can anyone say power collection? Hell yeah!
Yeah, the viewers finally got our showdown between Peter and Sylar, and as in series 1, it turned out to be nothing more than a fist fight. but i'm confused, if Peter was blocking Sylar's powers (so he didn't get whooped) how was Sylar's body able to shapeshift into Nathan?
ah, but if she is brought back and used to show that peter's character has changed, or makes him return to how he was, maybe he'll finally have a purpose (is it too much to hope that his powers would instantly reemerge too? i can dream, can't i?)
good news at last. and dude, if you don't like, don't watch...
umm, dude, the first series of heroes was awesome. if you're too mad at the world to realise that, why bother posting on a HEROES forum?
@ Casio: yeah, I think Sylar would have transformed, but still been "Nathan" in ersonality, if you know what I mean. Because Renee's power also stops other powers working.
Another interesting thought: will Sylar now have Parkman's telepathy? Because he discovered how it worked while inside Matt's head, much the same way in which he can now fly because Nathan knew how. Finally we'd have a kickass telepath rather than telepathetic Parkman.
it would have to be carefully timed between meeting future hero and saving claire, cus we all want his bad ass scar. and Ravenhill, though peter in that time didn't know he had hiro's power, our peter would know, so it would be fine :) would also like to point out that he would have Charles Devaux's power... did we ever find out what that was? and why didn't Simone ever exhibit a power? with the exception of Nathan (who got an artificial power) every other child of a company founder has had a power? Caitlin file you think?
