lol i feel kind of bad now.
ooo imagine the drama if these two hook up behind his back. I don't know who he'd be more jelous of, S or C.
@Flora: yeah, the whole werewolves theme. it just would've been a nice way to divide the cast and still continue telling the stories they've been telling. But Tyler and Caroline are still going to be tied into MF crew, despite having nothing to do with them for the past 2 seasons. I have a really hard time picturing what the hell will happen with her. But then I think Steroline and yeah, that'll probably happen. Maybe she saves him. I'm annoyed by the idea. but yes, resigned.
@ Patri: you read my mind. my headcanon right now is insane. i must share. Stefan = shadow self of Silas right? And we've never seen the woman Silas loved. Who ofcourse is going to be like Caroline somehow. What if they tie CS together that way? Like a "fate" thing. ew guys. this is not right. tell me i'm crazy.
if she did join it would be a season or two from now. I do have this fear though, that if she went to TO she'd be like a stand-in mom for his baby lol. Hoping for crossovers, but that probably won't happen. And I'm kind of dreading the first one. She'll be like, hey don't you love me. And he'll be like not really. I knocked up your mortal enemy and then fell in love with a replacement blonde. like what the hell. stay far away Caro. Before the whole pregnancy I would have loved for her to join, but the more this show is filled out the more turned off I am by it.
I just want her to get good storylines until she gets killed off in TVD, which she probably will.
@Gayatri: luv that btw
exactly Flora. They can backtrack as much as they want, but it is a tool of redemption. All Klaus' initial reluctance means is that atleast he hasn't lost his mind. He's still an ass, so atleast that works.
they talk about shippers like we're some evil irrational bunch. I hope they realize that the online fandom is the most realistic about KC, because we know the spoilers. The casual viewers, the ones that actually watch weekly not even having read a synopsis, still think KC is so on. I watched one review video (from a reputable blogger) that was hoping for a continuation of the Caroline Klaus Tyler triangle. The baby is an after thought for them, because most of them are actually convinced its a trick.
I don't blame them though. If he needs an heir he can have an heir. Its a fallacy but whatever. Atleast have the child come about via some adult relationship (or a conscious decision on his part) rather than a one night stand's unprotected sex. That's the way to create an adult feel, lets have them conceive the way a 17 year old would. And then that baby can fix him. Because that's what children do.
I think the whole point of the finale was to set up for the spin-off and the new season. It was a little anti-climactic, but TVD isn't an unpredictable show. After all the negative publicity about the new show and TVD's own ability to sustain without the Originals it makes sense that they'll give people a reason to watch next season. I.e.: Stefan drama, DE together (which is a large fanbase), KC sort of goodbye scene, and they even left Forwood open for a return. Its a show based on shipping so I'm not surprised that certain fandoms liked it.
But yes, if it were a show based strictly on the paranormal rather than the ships, then the breakdown of the episode would've been different and maybe better.
Oversimplification of anything is the worst. X worked because of Y. Y didn't work because of B. Its not like that. There are a variety of factors. The spin-off won't necessarily fail without KC. But its a little stupid for the writers to believe that Caroline is a non-factor. She is one of the major reasons why people love Klaus.
I'm wondering if the writers are still unaware of the level of Caroline's popularity. Elena stopped being the central female for me sometime mid-season 3. Caroline pulled a Blair and it seems like TVD is unaware.
Really, the baby storyline on any other network might feel adult and and suited, but on the CW their going to turn it into the weirdest crapfest ever. And then they go and make his baby mama the one female character everyone seems to hate, regardless of their shipping preferences.
I don't understand why he needs an heir when it has been proven time and again that he CANNOT die. He's immortal in the truest sense. So why in the hell does he need an heir?
TVD trolls its audience and then goes on twitter and creates a big fuss when a bunch of 14 year olds tell them to fuck off. Sometimes its like they don't even watch their own show.
the way they walked off together. amazing. i know the actors don't ship KC, but I think they love the scenes and it really shows.
