After a whole season dressing like a old lady beside grandpa pimp Bass ,it's kinda refreshing to see her in a outfit properly for her age. The girl has 19/20 years old for God's sake.
I'm convinced that if Dan had started out on the UES Blair would be all over him in an instant. If Dan had money, he'd be everything she needs.
But luckily Blair is growing up and realizing that social status means nothing if you're not happy. Take Chuck Bass as example. And to be honest,I put more faith in Dan's writer carreer than Chuck's business,I mean,what does he really knows besides boozing and sex? and of course,pimp his girlfriend to keep his hotel?
See? Blair's awesome when not with Chuck/not mourning Chuck/not pining for Chuck.
Chuck Bass character ruins all the other characters he's around. I'm so glad Blair will be finally free of this asshole,Blair Waldorf is just too awesome to be his shadow.
In my vision of Dair, they fall for each other, but Blair is the one whose perspective we see first (I mean imagine Blair Waldorf trying to cure her attraction to Dan Humphrey). And then maybe she is convinced that Dan only loves Serena (plus falling for Humphrey is crazy) so she dates that Prince for a while, which causes Dan to be jealous. And then somehow they realize that they actually have feelings for each other and confess their love somewhere on Coney Island (because Coney Island can be fun and Blair Waldorf needs a day of pure FUN)... THAT WOULD BE SO EPIC. Some fans should write this show,seriously. Blair Waldorf needs a day of pure FUN The girl really needs someone that makes her smile.
IT WAS ABOUT FREAKING TIME!
Now let's just hope that not only they are going "there",but also they will never go back to Chair.

Well,look at the bright side... It's seems that the little one of the momsen girls-Taylor's little sister,I believe- didn't follow the same road. ;)
I don't understand why the characters on the show can never be single, like the only drama they can think of is relationship drama. Even if a character is in a relationship, why does it always have to be so hard?
Because GG writers have no creativity,and the only kind of drama they can think of must be about all these hook ups that happen in the show. How many times Serena was unsure if she should be with Dan or Nate? And how many times they were willing to be with her? How many times Chuck and Blair played games,had sex and Blair was the one screwed up in the end? How many times these characters were used simply to lead a rushed and nonsense SL instead of being developed as they should?
What makes me mad about this show,is that,it was a really good show once,I could see the whole character development.But now,they are just trying to hook up everybody and see what works to most viewers. It's sad,and puts this show in the same level as stupid teen dramas like 90210.
I really would like to see this show trying something different for a change. To be honest,I would like GG could go back to be like it was on S1,the focus was the characters as individuals,and not as couples.
