    I keep replying on your post Bored Now, but my post is always sent for moderation, which is funny because I'm not bashing anyone or breaking any rules. On the topic of special effects, I'd also rather not have any special effects, than effects that I can clearly see as fake. Like the deer on Teen Wolf and the alpha werewolf. Clearly fake. I'd rather have them covered in props or something. Like what they did with werewolves in Buffy and the Wendigo in Charmed.

    I'd rather watch 90210 for fapworthy guys and that show is the equivalent of nails scratching on a board. I kept thinking while watching this show, it's made for kids between 10 and 14, which is a bit too explicit at times, thus the bit more action it has. TVD has no good special effects, but rather that than this show's effects, which look completely fake. If you guys want to give MTV shows a shot, try Awkward. It's amazing, get's great reviews and the lead was nominated for a critic's association award for her work on the show.

    I'm sorry but this show completely and utterly sucks! Someone forced me to watch season 1 with them and I think I felt the way you(Bored Now) felt like when you watched TVD S3. There's no depth to the lead whatsoever, just another whiny and horny teenager, the story is predictable. I never feel like there are any real stakes in this show. The only limelight was the female witch hunter, who was actually amazing, and by the end of the season I was wishing she succeeded in killing all the werewolves, that's how much I disliked/didn't care for any of the main characters(except the popular dude). This show probably reminds you of the first seven TVD s1 episodes, because the rest of TVD's s1 is on a complete other level of excellence.

    You should definitely continue with Revenge Emily VanCamp is amazing. The whole show is brilliant.

    I think you guys are being a bit harsh to Nina's acting skills and your hatred for Elena's character may be fuel to the fire. I agree Ginnifer deserves the award, but this is the TCA's and most teens don't watch OUAT. I think Nina is the best from the actors left in th category, she definitely has talent, in fact, I think the whole cast does, they all shined in "Brave New World". I don't think acting skills are measured in the number of facial skills the person has, it's about how well the emotions are sold and you're definitely going to be less into those emotions if you hate the character's guts.

    Oddly enough, I never found Angelus all that threatening, he was a bore and I never bought his whole charade. Mayor Wilkins and Glory, those were some villians to be reckoned with, not to mention the Master :). But the all time best villian from Buffy, would be s2's Drusilla, she had the perfect mix of darkness and crazy.

    BTW, to answer the question, Klaus and The Volturi (except the small blonde chick) do not classify as villians. The only thing scary about Lord Voldemort is his nose, or lack there of, so I guess he wins.

  8. New tv shows

    The upcoming CW shows suck! Still not over the fact that Ringer got cancelled :(

    Probably only tune in to Pretty Little Liars and Awkward this summer, waiting in barely controllable anticipation for TVD, Revenge and Glee in the fall. Seriously having withdrawel symptoms for those three shows.

    Anyone know when American Horror Story season 2 starts? Besides the cheesy finale/ending, I thought the show was AMAAZING!!

    Why do all the villians have to be supernatural? OBVIOUSLY the best villians out there are Sue Sylvester and Sadie Saxton from Awkward. Seriously she'd break these villians in half with a single "You're welcome" :)

  10. TVD Season 4

    Also, I don't know how any of you feel about it, but I really wish TVD did something new with their special effects. All three seasons' special effects have been severly underwhelming and in this day and age, they could do a lot more with it.
