Hook is the absolute best. I didn't think I'd like him as much, but he has easily become my favourite villian the show has introduced(Regina a close second). I was probably one of the few who wanted him to exact revenge on Gold. I just can't feel anything for Gold, he still comes across as a coward to me and karma hasn't bitten him the ass yet, at least not as much as it has Regina. So I was pretty dissappointed in everything that happened. Bell is starting to annoy me aswell because she just excuses Rumple of everything. The way I see it, Regina got revenge, but afterward it failed and Gold did the same, yet they're excused because they're "trying to better" and Hook hasn't gotten any, until those last few episodes of the show and he is So much worse than them. Last annoyance. It was pretty lame how Hook got his ass whooped by an old man with a cane, sure the possibility was there that Rumple would use magic, but in that moment Hook was so sure that Rumple would kill him anyway, so why not get in a few punches. He spent all those years waiting for ann ass whoopin. Needless to say I didn't appreciate how the character was treated in the episode and where the hell was Kora during all this?
Ive only just watched episode 11 so I havent read any of the above post. I need confirmation. Is Hook leaving my tv screen for good :(
The ratings for the show are dipping from episode to episode. Last night was a season low, you guys think theres reason for concern?
Am I the only one here who is a little disappointed with the way the season is going? I loved the first few episodes, but lately I'm feeling lost with everything going on. There's just too many storylines and it makes the show feel scattered and a lot less focused that season 1. Honestly I could care less about Jack, Declan and Aidan atm, I only hope that it's not Amanda who's dead in the boat. On the upside, glad Ashley is back.
Depends on why you're still watching. If you're watching to see Elena get hurt, probably not. If you're watching to witness the salvation of the terrible threesome's characters, a no too. If you're watching for everything besides said threesome, maybe. Once you've lost your love for a show, it's a hard to truly fully regain it.
I found this episode above average, but it wasn't one of my favourites. Like you guys, I'm glad Stefan grew some balls, but not to the extent you guys are, just because I think it'll give the terrible threesome a break and I don't give a fuck about there character development and I can only throw up in my mouth so many times during an episode. I have a girl-crush on Rebekah. Absolutely bomb. She was amazing in every scene. KOL, need I say more? Im really enjoying Jeremy this season and not just because he's more buff. I'm excited for the prospects of this cure hunt, no matter how cheesy it turns, it could make for good television. For the first time also, I found myself intrigued by Silas. I still wanted more action though, but Kol and Rebekah made this episode, probably knocked this episode up a whole lettergrade IMO.
I figured it out. Klaus is responsable for Hayley's parents death. She finds out and sets out for revenge. Thus leading to the epic Kayley love story.
What is the 3rd show JP running?
On a more serious note, some of you are seriously underestimating the staying power of TVD and overestimating the popularity of Tonkin.
In a dream world, JP would write the spin off and f that up after one season, while someone competent tskes over the rest of TVD.
I actually don't think the show will make it passed the pilot phase and even if it airs, how would that work, a show about them is present day? What exactly would this entail though and how many villians can the writers actually come up with that are stronger than the originals?
