1. Blair's not pregnant

   The GG writers tweeted after the airing of the West Coast finale that the pregnancy test scene had never been written down.  That's why it didn't show up in any of the leaked scripts.  They filmed it all at the same time.  So it was not added at a later date it was always in the original episode just never scripted.  You have to hand it to them.  They had obviously learned from past leaked experiences and wanted to avoid that.

   Hope that at least puts an end to the fighting regarding the scene just being thrown in to placate a certain fan base because that wasn't the case.  As far as Dair vs. Chair you're all on your own with that one!

2. Fed Up

   I wasn't aware of the next two episodes having aired.  You are all assuming that Blair and Chuck just gloss over the whole thing.  We DO NOT know how they are going to react to the situation.  I'll repeat what I said earlier...let's wait and see how things progress!!! 

   I also want to say as someone who lives in NYC I can tell you that this show is not based on any sort of reality. There are cartoons a lot more realistic than this show!

3. Fed Up

   She Was A Daydreamer that is my point if you are no longer entertained or offended stop watching. I've done that with many shows in the past. It's a good way to get your feelings across to the producers of the show. Undeclared I said the same thing in regards to the execution of the script. If what they had written did not come across that's a whole different issue. Unfortunately I can't continue with this debate as I have children coming home & homework, dinner & lacrosse games to attend! Real life is interfering.

   My feeling is if you are so impressionable then you should be watching a different show.  There are a lot of things that have happened on this show that are unacceptable in real life. If you watch this and decide drug use or sleeping with a teacher are okay then you have bigger problems.  Maybe there needs to be more parental guidance. 

   I was not blaming Blair at all (she is my absolute favorite character) I was simply giving her credit.  Blair is anything but stupid.  I think she walked in there looking for something and getting something else completely different.  I personally think she was unaware of how bad the situation had gotten for Chuck.  I also think that we are going to see this addressed in the next episode.  Her reaction to it and Chuck's remorse.

   As far as Josh Safran goes I feel he doesn't have to defend it.  They wrote it and they know the intent of it.  If the execution of the script didn't convey what they wanted than that's another issue.  I don't believe in censorship of any kind and feel strongly that if you don't like it don't watch.

   I'm not saying Chuck is a good guy or perfect.  I would never date a guy like him in real life but it does bring drama to the show which is what "Gossip Girl" is all about.

5. Fed Up

   I wasn't sure where to post this so just decided to start a new thread.  It may fit somewhere better but I don't have the time to go through all the existing threads to find it.

   I have not posted here in a very long time due to all the negativity and mean spiritedness I have seen, but after Monday's episode and hearing about all the backlash I had to vent.  Before I do so I will admit that I am probably quite a bit older than most of you on these boards.  I'm not 15 or 20 but 40.  I have watched the show since the very beginning and have been a Chuck and Blair fan since day one.  I continue to root for them as a couple even after watching "The Princesses and the Frog".

   First and foremost this is a fictional show.  It is not reality TV.  If anyone is watching this show hoping to learn a moral lesson they are going to be disappointed.  This isn't "Glee" where every week there is some warm, fuzzy lesson being learned.  This is "Gossip Girl" where for the last 4 seasons we have had drug use, underage drinking, sex with friend's boyfriends, prostitutes, threesomes and affairs with teachers.  There is no morality lessons to be learned here. I personally gained my morals from parents, grandparents, teachers and peers.  Not from fictional TV.

   I also don't condone violence. That being said however I don't believe for one second Chuck would've shattered that glass if he had known it was going to harm Blair in any way.  He was desperate and broken and he reacted.  Having been through many relationships I have learned that they are never black and white.  They are messy and sometimes dark.  I have  been known to say or do something in a fit of anger that I regret later.  I'm sure we all have. That's the way life works.  Sometimes it's not perfect.

   I also would like to point out that Blair went there knowing full well the kind of mindset Chuck was in.  I doubt she went there thinking he had sobered up and she could have a conversation with him.  I'm not a 100% sure why she did.  The news could have waited just as easily till the morning when he had been possibly in a better frame of mind.  Blair walked into that apartment completely unafraid.

   This couple needs a lot of work but I do believe that they can come back from this in time.  I prefer to wait and see how the next two episodes play out before I judge and until then I will continue to support Chuck and Blair and their relationship.

   These outfits are indeed bad choices!  Just FYI the Marchesa she wore to the Harry Winston event has a nude underlay.  It is not her bottom you are seeing!

8. JENNY WILL GO MISSING

   It was slightly strange.  It was a milk carton with Jenny's face on it and it said "Have you see me?"  The facts listed on the side said Last Seen: 4.10 Gaslight Then it just listed her stats like age, weight, birthdate and stuff like that.

   It definitely suggests that she will go missing.  Whether this is self imposed or she is taken against her will isn't said.  Make what you will out of it!

9. Help with a few lines in 4.08

   I think he is implying that she use to enjoy having sex in semi-public places.  Sort of like first episode of season 3 when they are in the back of the restaurant and he says "lets go" and she says "or we could stay" and they start to kiss.  I think Blair has a slightly kinky side to her.  She also says it to Nate when they are at Jenny's party making out in Chuck's room.  She says something like "Isn't it hot to think someone could walk in".  There are other refernces like that.

   I think Chuck has taught her a thing or two.

    The exact quote is: "This comforter blocks out so much noise they could sell it at Bose."

    The Bose company makes and sells those amazing noise cancelling headphones hence the reference. Hope that helps!
