I ordered it on Amazon. I hope it's good.
Would you rather be best friends with Meredith or Cristina?
Cristina and Owen.
Would you rather see a Grey's/Desperate Housewives cross over, or a GA/House, MD cross over?
I think Shonda does read everything, but she's just ignoring us. Maybe she's sick of George or something? Or maybe she's sick of T.R. (honestly, I don't know how someone could be sick of him. He seems like a sweetie, and Justin Chambers and the rest of the cast have said that he's a joy to work with).
Bleh...I'm probably wrong. More than likely I am most definitely wrong. But it's a theory.
That's a toughy... I find neuro fascinating, so the burr holes.
Would you rather be Cristina or Meredith's long lost sister (or brother if you're a guy)?
Would you rather be McDreamy or McSteamy's scrub nurse?
greysaddiction -- I started watching in mid season three (saw brief moments of "Where The Boys Are", but got hooked after seeing "Six Days pt. 1") and had right away noticed the chemistry between George and Izzie. I had hoped they were gonna hook up, and whaddaya know! A few episodes later they did LOL. I started watching season one reruns on Lifetime and fell hard for the show, primarily their friendship (although I was a pretty big MerDer fan back in those days).
Even if they can't get back together as a couple, I would be forever happy if they could have that friendship back. I miss the days of them all living in Meredith's house. It was funny and cute. Maybe Shonda will see all the peoples' posts wanting the Gizzie friendship back and she'll respond? It'd be a miracle.
Well, I'm off. School!
One of my favorite moments was S1E9 when George was in the bathroom looking through that big book about skin irritations and Izzie was accusing him of doing something... naughty ;-)
The linen closet (awfully cliche, yes, but it was still very emotional), their elevator kiss, their little chemistry scenes LOL (I'm not perverted, they were good scenes, IMO), S1E2 when Meredith told them they could move in with her and they started dancing, when they were doing the shower scene (George's dream), when he was in the shower and Izzie kept barging in on him and in the end when she was brushing her teeth with his toothbrush.
I could go on for hours, but I'm pretty sure I'd override the GBs on the site and make it crash :-P George is why I watch, and Izzie and him are just so wonderful together as best friends and as lovers, IMO. They have amazing chemistry, and in real life they are adorably sweet and funny.
If you ever get the chance, watch the pilot with the commentary on with T.R., Katie and Sandra. It's hilarious :-P It's so cute how T.R. and Katie tease each other.
Thanks, greysaddiction. That vid was awesome :-) I really hope the writers will pull their heads out of their asses and give George a decent story, have him be there for Izzie and have her heal and make a full recovery. Yeah, fat chance, whatever. We can dream!
One question: What's a homesexual? Does that mean you contain the desire to have sexual relations with houses? That's pretty effed up. Might wanna get that checked.
There's always going to be closed-minded ignorance in the world. People hate/are afraid of things they don't know much about or are completely different from them. I was raised around a ftm transgender that has a girlfriend, so I really don't see anything wrong with it.
May I recommend a little movie called "Prayer's For Bobby"? Overbearing, Bible-pushing Christian mother tries to cure her son of homosexuality. Gets so bad that he ends up committing suicide. But what happens to the mother afterward truly is mind-blowing.
Really, people do need to get over themselves. Another thing I recommend is watching a clip on YouTube of T.R. Knight (ya know, George on this show? Gay man in real life?) speaking at a high school about the day of silence. His speech was very good. It's not that terribly long. I guess it's apart of a documentary/movie thing somebody's making...
