Even though she's given crappy material to work on right now, Nina still manages to do a very good job...She's definitely the most award-worthy female actress on the show.

Nina playing Tatia is actually the only logical choice. Since Elena and Katherine are both doppelgängers of Tatia, and in modern vernacular a doppelgänger is a double or look-alike of a person, casting someone that just looks like Nina would be inappropriate.

BAMON in the show is kinda screwed and never meant to be, the characters are different from the books in many aspects and honestly the thought of those two together is just...weird? BUT since it's the show we're talking about, I wouldn't be surprised to see a JELENA ship on sail someday...
