    I love my name too, I'm from France. I totally get what you're talking about! French people KILL my name over here T_T I'm the only Elena in the country I think ^^ Since, originally I was meant to be named Helena, but someone kinda didn't write it correctly when they were registering my birth...i.e, I grew up feeling like the reincarnation of bad orthography, an abomination of nature. U_U

     

    In Greek mythology, Elena or Helena is supposed to be the most beautiful woman on Earth. :3 WE ROCK :D

    Call me a freak, but I have a bit of a crush on Hannibal Lecter. He may be the scariest fuck out there (certainly scarier than the supposed monster of the book, Buffalo Bill), but he just oozes style and knowledge. In fact, he has so much style and knowledge that he doesn't come off as a ridiculous prick when he says things like, 'A census taker tried to quantify me once. I ate his liver with some fava beans and a big Amarone'* or 'Can you smell his sweat? That peculiar goatish odour is trans-3-methyl-2 hexenoic acid. Remember it, it's the smell of schizophrenia.' Quite the contrary -- he sounds cool saying these things. Sophisticated, even.

    Favorite Movies: Silence Of The Lambs, Man on Fire, Fallen and so so many others.

    Favorite actors: Sir.Anthony Hopkins, the master, seriously. Denzel Washington, I can't think of one movie that he acted in that is less than magnificiant.

    Favorite songs: Torn - Shiver - Like a Stone - Enchanted.

    Favorite singers: Natalie Imbruglia (way too underrated :\) - Audioslave - Taylor Swift.

    Books: Everything by Thomas Harris.

    Actors: Sir.Anthony Hopkins, Denzel Washington...Perfection, no doubt.

    It's her job as an actress and lead star to make the audience like herAnd it's the writers' job to write and create something likable about her character. I'm sorry but I don't think the failiure of "Elena", the character on the show, has to do with some lack of talent from Nina. In fact, I actually praise the girl for still being good at playing something comepletely, bad...Give even Nicole Kidman an inconsistent, shitty, unrelatable material to work on, I think the audience wouldn't like it either, regardless her epic acting skills.

    I see you went on criticising "Elena" the character, and I'm not talking about that.
