aw sanaa!! yea agree, would've loved to have seen a blair/henry/chuck scene, would've been the icing on the cake. BUT I LOVE THE FLASHFORWARD SO MUCH. I've rewatched it a thousand times, there's soooo many things you will have missed! LOVE that Jenny is working with blair! LOVE LOVE LOVE the photo of cb kissing at their wedding behind rufus! and if you look REALLY carefully you can just see the hint of the SB photo on the table too when lily sits down, that made me sooo happy, beause even though I REALLY REALLY wanted an SB finishing scene, the fact that photo is in cb's home is so sweet! it's been there since season 1, and we've seen it many times throughout the series, they both own one! And its so cool! AND MY ICON. YOU CAN JUST SEE MY ICON TOO!!! Njbc :') k so ive totally analysed the photo table, but everything is there to be found if you look hard!! :P LOVE THE WEDDING DRESSES. SOOOO MUCH

totes agree Elise!!
To me, I csn't see how there could be sny conceivable option AT ALL other then CB ending up together. No way in HELL!!! I mean, I just don't get it, have these people who think otherwise actually watched season 1 and 2? 2x01 is one of THE BEST episodes of the entire series, CB were just...they blew me away. They 100% blew me away and I didn't even ship them!! It all came down to the garden scene. it was the VERY first scene where their amazing connection and complexity was first brought to light to us. Their incredible banter like in the poolside scene was always there, but the emotional angst/depth of feelings was really revealed in that moment, you could see it in their eyes, their movements, their expressions. Oh leighton was just pure perfection. and Ed too, my god I LOVE IT. and the 3 words 8 letters scene. jeez, at the end of that ep I was 1000000% convinced they were the best pairing I had ever seen on tv. EVER.
When I look back, the writers went ridiculously over the top, it's true. The fucking IP, chenny. The glass punch, don't get me started on fucking dair, and just season 5 in general. BUT. I DO understand what they were trying to convey..and I agree with it - I feel that after the angst back and forth in s2, when they finally came together, they really did not know how to deal with the magnitude of the love they had stumbled into. They weren't prepared, and it blew up, but the love was still there IT WAS ALWAYS SO OBVIOUS. I agreed with Chuck letting her go, it was what needed to happen. Blair should have realised though, and she DID eventually, but it should've ended at 5x10. IT WAS THEIR TIME. But, what happened happened, and it was a fucking disaster , true, but at least we can draw conclusions as to why Blair did ehat she did. I'm just so glad they got the forever after they were destined to have since 2x01. They will always, ALWAYS be special and unique to television.
aw SANAA!!! omg gurl, WE'RE HERE!! Go for it, last episode ever!! Many loved it, some hated it, I was one of the ones that is totally happy (well, as happy as I could expect to be :P) I hope you like it, I really do (if you can excuse the little annoying things ;)
ahh..To me Chuck and Blair have always and WILL always be the powerhouses of the Upper East side. They actually have FACES they show to the world, and have built their power in society, with the good and bad things that come with it. Dan..my god he hid behind a computer. I cannot fathom how this in ANY WAY gives him 'power' over those that are actually respected and feared. Blair worked SO HARD for her queen B title and every single thing she's achieved over the years..she EARNED dominance...gossip girl sent out their secrets, yes, but does that make dan 'powerful' because he wrote OMG'S in a teenage girl voice like some creepy stalker? I can't understand how it would.
I LOVED THIS
