I am more interested about the new spoiler pic for 4x12:
Its supposedly a "shocking" character in 4x12. Some for some reason speculate on it being Lauren for whatever the fuck reason(like, having been on Bo's father's side all along and shit)
Meh that is not as hilarious for me.
But the utter hilarity of Kenzi's comment about body on the floor almost rivals the whole "My mom's gonna have an anneurysm" comment on buffy.
Still laughing at this tho:
Emily Andras is taking inspiration from Whedon's sense of humor.
I am thinking both, with the latter one being more longterm. She will most likely spend next episode suffering from heroic bsod till she does something drastic.
And next episode is titled "It Begins" which is the phrase Lauren used when we found out about her shady faepocalypse bs mystery.
Anyway, any ideas on where can this take Kenzi as character? There's no way she is not going to blame herself for this - she gave Massimo the twig, Hale's ear damage started because he saved her few episodes back, Massimo was even here in this state because of her AND Hale was stabbed by her sword.
My fucking feeels....
Ohy my gods its so great to be RIGHT about everything.Masimo being alive due to twig. Rainer not being the person Tamsin was working for. Hale's death. Kenzi being Willow.
This officially will be a huge turn in Kenzi's character. Its something she will blame herself for, forever.
Mentally blocking out the character assassination trolling above(not that i'd care since I don't give two shits about that trainwreck anymore)
Anyway, I am more than likely thinking that Tamsin is distracting him or some shit than just comfort hugs. Still, ewww, because they were more like father and daughter this season, if anything else.
So yeah it has to be either TamTam distracting him or some sort of mind control whackery going on (since you also have Bo chi-sucking Kenzi and Hale proposing to Kenzi)
Ha, I was right! No mind control involved!
Anyway, here's what I think is going on:
The way I see it, Trick most likely made sure Odin's corporeal body is in pieces, however his soul from either Irkalla OR Valhalla is manipulating moral realm trying to revive himself. He could not do anything by himself so he used other people to do his bidding.
Rainer was his warrior, an “einherjar”, who Odin used to fight against Trick. As Rainer would die, valkyries would bring his soul back to Valhalla and Odin would resurrect him to do it again. This explains why Trick wanted to write him out of existence.
Why would Odin need a peer in the first place? I am thinking we are looking at Ragnarok-like situaton, with Trick most likely tricking the gods into death (thus aligning Trick into being mythological true Loki) .
So Odin, and maybe other gods, are stuck in either hell(Irkalla) or Valhalla(Odin’s version of afterlife), with his/their corporeal bodies/body disassembled into parts and Odin’s power on earth being split amongst the Una Mens.
So Odin would need to father a daughter with powers similar to his (control Of life and death, breaking curses, etc), so he then could transfer her via Huginn and Munnin to Rainer’s train, in order to free Rainer from there, so Rainer and Bo could slay Una Mens and essentially free his power as his lackeys on earth slowly reassemble his body and he is, physically, back in the land of the living again.
Now we know that Tamsin will feature HEAVILY in the rest of the season. We also know that Valkyries can bring those they deem worthy to Valhalla. So, Bo’s confrontation with her father in Valhalla in the finale?
A redux of Trick versus Odin war in S5, with Bo yet again stuck between two equally as awful sides?
This right there is the SMARTEST THING anyone said in the show.
Trick is Rumple of this show - if everyone just ignored him or offed him, half the bad shit would not be happening
