      Actually, as with most of nonsensical S2 bullshit, you apparantly "can't compell people to feel true feelings" like love or sorrow or not to feel them. Yes I know it makes totally no sense, but nothing in s2 made any sense anyway.

      I'm not saying it isn't rape, I've never said it isn't...what I mean is that he compelled the coverstory, he compelled her fear away...he can't compell the real feelings...and it seems to me that Andie really really cares for Damon...that she actually loves him...

      And that changes nothing.

      If rapist gets the girl drugged, rapes her and then leaves a dozen of roses near the bed it does not change the fact or anything.

      Hm, well, Kat betrayed him no matter what he had or what she knew and Elijah is pretty much ready to kill her. 

       

      In fact him wanting to plain murder and make Kat suffer is the only redeeming quality of bunny eater elijah right now, why take it away?

      He won't even be the main villain for entire season as he is wetting his pants from fear froma simple 60 year old witch even before the midseason and after that someone will become th main villain for a while(betting on ghosts).

       

      At least Elena in the books had an excuse(alongside, well, you know, having personality and kicking ass, buffy style) for why the vamps would feel attracted to her(due to her god heritage, she is bassically a walking aphrodisiac to them there)
