@TDS- I disagree I don't feel Izzie should be punished because she was given her gift of life. Yes, she should be thankful for it and live it to the fullest but I thought that's what she was trying to do. Wasn't Cristina the one that said (about Izzie last episode) "When you save someones life you kinda want it not to suck". Just because she lived through what she probably in real life circumstances wouldn't have doesn't mean she should always get the short end of the stick. RIGHT? I mean George was 'her person' just like Cristina has Meredith and vice versa. She may have lost him just like everyone did and she may not be the only one affected by it. But she was affected the most by it because they all still have someone or their person and she doesn't. Now, I will have to agree on the note I felt like it was a little junior high-ish. Not I'm married and grown and I'm going to break it off in a note. That's just as foolish as getting married on a post it note if you ask me. These writers need to step it up a bit.
HELLO the obvious answer is Alex and Izzie. Come on Dr. Model and Real life underwear model. Need I say more. They'd have the cutest babies ever!!!
Unfortunately, the most awkward scene for me comes from my favorite couple and favorite two characters. The Izzie/Alex I care about you scene. I think it was awkward for me because she kept repeating and repeating and repeating and at some point during her "I CARE ABOUT YOU" rant I was like, "OKAY WE GET IT...I SAID WE GET IT..OKAY DAMN IT I CAN'T WATCH IT ANYMORE!!" 
I was just so embarrassed for Izzie it was so awkward and it might not even have been her fault, maybe it was the writing. Might I add this is the scene I waited 5 seasons for (the scene where Izzie opens her heart up to Alex, not just an on-call room romp). This was totally not good! I was disappointed in the script to say the least!!
BTW: I seeing ALOT of the same opinions when it comes to the awkward scenes. That can only mean one thing. These must be indeed awkward!

I think Alex and Izzie make a great couple. I don't know how you can't see the chemistry. Yes, Alex has had some serious emotional problems but lets not forget Izzie has had plenty of emotional problems too, cutting an LVAD wire being one of them. I will excuse her for the strange Denny-Ghost sex because of the cancer but in my opinion they go perfectly together because they understand each other and each others problems. George and Izzie was just weird the whole thing just made me uncomfortable. It was too brotherly-sisterly (Not cool). I did, however, really admire the relationship that George and Izzie had presex. It was real (them being best friends) and then they almost ruint it on a short lived awkward affair. Yes, they loved each other but they weren't in love with each other.
