Nate and Blair
I have always been a Nair fan. I read the series before the TV show aired, so obviously this is no suprise. I started watching the show because Nair was originally together, like they should've been. Even though they had their problems throughout the first season, they were never really broken up. Even when Nate found out about Blair and Chuck, I still didn't regard them as completely done. Their break-up was messy; up until the point of their break-up, they were so happy and in love. Obviously they weren't finished. In Season 2, I continued to watch because I still hung on to that hope of them reuniting. Sure enough, pictures started popping up online of Chace and Leighton kissing in Central Park on set. I no longer cared who Blair and Nate hooked-up with on the show - I was just happy that they'd be together in the end. But no. The writer's devoted only a few episodes to Nair before breaking them up and reuniting Chair. I have now lost all hope of Nair getting back together because Blair left Nate in her highschool past. I no longer watch the show. I think that now Chair's stable and together now, viewership has declined.Posted 10/22/2009 10:54:17 PM # -
Valley Girls
I'm so sad that Nair split up. That was so abrupt and that last moment was sweet. I can't stand Chair. At least I can happily wait for the new gossip girl book. there's no way that chair will hook up in there.Posted 5/11/2009 9:34:53 PM # -
new GG book
People who want Chair together in the new book obviously haven't read the series.
Chuck is a flamboyant bisexual (he acts gay and is into guys but he's still a womanizer too) who goes to military school and owns a white monkey named Sweetie. Who he dresses up.
Nate and Blair have been an on-and-off couple throughout the entire series. Both Blair and Serena are in love with Nate and Nate's in love with both of them.
I hope that Nate and Blair get back together and stay together this time. Nate's always stoned when he gets with Serena. And when they were a couple, he was constantly crying and wanted Blair.
There's no way that Chair could get together. Not in a way that would make sense to the readers. Just because it's on TV doesn't mean Cecily should put it in the books. Then, Vanessa would have to grow out her hair and completely change and Dan wouldn't be a part of the UES. At all. After all, he and Serena were more of a fling. Not a couple like on the show. And then Rufus would have to lose all of his weight and look normal like he does on the show. Everyone would change and that would just kill the series.
I can't wait until November 2009!!!

Least Fav Couple and Why?
I have three.
1. Nate and Jenny: 8 year age difference! It's gross and pedophilic.
2. Nate and Vanessa: Vanessa is so annoying. She and Nate don't go well together; they're too different.
3. Blair and Chuck: Okay, there is chemistry. BUT, that's all. When they're in a relationship, one of them is either unhappy or screws the whole thing up.
Nate and Blair are the best. They're amazing together because they have chemistry and make each other happy. I don't care how their relationship goes right now; as long as they're together at the end of the whole show, that's all that matters.

Nair Fans Speak UP
MissDior - Love the quotes :) I know that Nair won't last forever because it is television after all. They're an off-and-on couple. I just hope that when they aren't a couple that they can be friends. Blair was so happy when they were friends (except for the thought of Nate having no interest in her). I'm glad that this forum is here so Nair fans can post freely without getting bashed by Chair fans (for the most part).Posted 4/1/2009 7:30:02 PM # -
Nair Fans Speak UP
BTW, I've watched all of the Nair scenes from "Remains of a J" 5 times so far. They make me so happy, just like MerDer from Grey's Anatomy :)Posted 3/31/2009 11:45:10 PM # -
Nair Fans Speak UP
Let me first say that I have always been a Nair fan, due to the books. I've been waiting for last night's episode since last season's "Hi, Society". I really hope Nair lasts a while and not for only an episode or two. Its great that Nate and Blair were friends first. That's something that Blair and Chuck never had. Blair and Chuck never really had deep conversations together or any fun. Blair was always getting hurt. The only thing they had was that drama and sparks. Blair definitely deserves Nate, who really wants to make their relationship work. It was so romantic how he wanted to make their "first kiss" together special, so he had it at Blair's favorite spot. He wants her to be happy, and they definitely love each other in a genuine way. And for Chuck and Vanessa, I hope they become a couple. They're both scheming, so they're perfect for each other. They do have chemistry too. As for people thinking Blair was annoying because she was needy, I thought it was cute how she wanted Nate. It was great how when Nate told Vanessa how the break up had nothing to do with Blair, Blair comes up and goes 'Not yet anyways'. Nate doesn't even deny that something could happen between them; he just says that they'll talk about it. I can't wait until April 20!Posted 3/31/2009 11:41:02 PM # -

Remains of the J
Wow. GREAT episode! I've been waiting for a Nair reunion ever since they broke up in the first place. Blair's right - it feels easy because it's right. Blair deserves a nice guy who wants to be with her with no strings attached. I love how they start as friends first and then become a couple again. They don't rush in with sex. (Thanks to Nate.) I love how Nate called Dorota to ask her where Blair's favorite place was so they could have their ''first kiss'' - that was so romantic :). I hope Chuck and Vanessa stay together for a while - they have good chemistry (which explains their real-life dating). Is bad Serena back? I kinda hope so - the good, sweet act was getting old.Posted 3/30/2009 10:42:23 PM #
