I will respectfully disagree with this.
Klaroline=2 years of endless teasing (and some development).
Kalijah=they interact for one episode, then randomly come back two years later and are all kisses and eternal love.
I really don't see the same pattern here. If anything, Kalijah reminds me more of the Hayley stuff in 416.
And how could anyone wonder what will happen with Kat? She is played by TVD's leading actress, she'll never have time to make more than a cameo appearance in the spinoff...
My verdict is still not out about the KC 'friendship' (not sure what to think about that plot either), but I'm afraid I'm always buying whatever these two are selling because their chemistry is amazing. It's the actors, not the writing. Definitely.
Perhaps they can be 'friends' like Kat and Elijah? LOL
I know! And how could she buy the cure BS so easily? I hate how dumb they made her look this episode.
The episode felt so much like fanfic, I can't. Especially all the Kalijah. WTF. I don't particluarly care about kat's love life, but what happened to her undying love for Stefan?
Either Plec forgot about it and gave her an undying love for Elijah (in which case, smh at the writing).
Or she is playing Elijah to gain something for herself (in which case, so much sideeye at Elijah getting fooled because of *feelings*, and by a dopelganger out of all people, WHY).
Also, WTF at them not even mentioning Kol. KOL EXSITED YOU KNOW. Smh, all this Jeremy talk when Elena has killed two of the Original brothers.
@Flora, spoiler number 4:
But didn't they say we'll find out about an unlikely alliance? Between that and Elena kissing Elijah while pretending to be Kat, I figured it was possible.
LOL Of course it was the KC crays. Are they reading cryptic tweets again?
I shouldn't ask which cray fandom has these illusions, should I?
Not sure if I want to see Katherine getting owned by Elena (I'd prefer Rebekah), but I always appreciate a good fight.
And Elijah is obvs secretly working (and mayby doing more things) with Kat and ends up with the cure in his hands. That's my prediction anyway.
But with all the spoilers we've gotten, I feel like I know exactly what's going to happen tonight. That can't be good.
Yes, Flora, so much hype, it's crazy. And worrisome. It reminds me how the hyped that episode last year, the one with the Damon flashbacks (316 or 317 I think), and it turned out to be one of the shittiest episodes they've ever done LOL.
They've also hyped the KC part TOO much. Bitches be cray on Plec's twitterfeed if things go wrong lmao.
