having seen all 3 shows (actually still got 2 BTVS episodes to go - wow! 7 seasons in 1 month!) I'd also say that BTVS win. TB had some pretty badass vamps until Sookie's magical fairy vagina neutered them. Damon was cool in the first half of season 1 - now he just crawls from bar to bar and whines about Elena. at least BTVS vamps were still considered a threat after falling in love.
come on, you people! Elena is Plec's alter ego and we all know by now that bitch wishes she was but that's not gonna happen, not even in her wildest dreams is flawless. I bet Elena's grades are as good as Serena's.
happy (belated) b-day sweetie!!!!!! hope you have a great one!!!! <3
even the fan-made posters for season 4 are more epic than JP's writing. can't we just create a reboot of this show on tumblr and forget about the actual thing??
I found 4 spelling mistakes, the guy who translated it into german must've been high.
Actually, spelling and other types of errors are quite common in best selling books. I asked my translation tutor about that and he told me that because the company tries to meet the deadlines when a book solds out, they go on republishing, skipping the proofreading phase.
I thought "50 Shades of Grey" was a good book since everyone's been talking about it lately (well, they did that with Twilight too though...)
LOL!! that's a great blog!!!
I just hope that now with The Secret Cirlce cancelled, Kevin will step up and try to save what's left from Plec's idiocy, otherwise this show is doomed to die a painful death...
^agree with ur point there but I can't help but think of Prison Break. season 1 was fuckin amazing. season 2 looked deeper into who set Lincoln up but seasons 3&4 were borderline pointless. I actually had to google the main storyline of season 4 as my mind has stopped in s3. anyway, going off topic here...
Nolan better not be dead...
I'm a new fan and all I have to say is that I've spent the last 5 days watching all the episodes up to this point instead of trying to catch up with my assignments' deadlines. lol
I love, love, LOVE Nolan!!! everything about him screams awesomeness! Amanda (the real one) is pretty damn badass.
my only concern regarding TV shows that start out great is how can the writers keep it up for seasons without losing it in the process. recently I also watched Once Upon A Time (up to the season finale) and I'm thinking that if you have a great show, keep it up to the point you still have a great story to tell. if it comes to an end and you think it's a good time to give your characters closure, END IT RIGHT THERE! I know there's pressure from the studios when a show becomes a hit and it's all about the money, but, come on! it's better to end a good show on season 2 or 3 and have people say it blew their fuckin mind from the pilot to the finale than stop watching it because it turned out to be something entirely different from the beginning.
so basically most of the episode was Elena telling her ex-boyfriend how she can't decide between Stefan and Damon. there was a COMPLETELY AND UTTERLY FORCED where Damon meets Elena first. Matt died I guess?? Klaus is inside Tyler now - biggest bullshit fuckin Plec has pulled all season (and that includes "Ghost World"). hey, Julie! here's an idea: make Tyler have a british accent too! that will make it even more amazing!!
the only bit I likes this entire episode was when Damon saved Rebekah and told her to run. this lasted, what? like 10 sec?
oh, and don't forget how Elena was ranting about how much of a party girl and wild animal she used to be. we TOTALLY saw that!
and I had to watch all this trainwreck loading incredibly slow and stopping every half phrase to buffer.
