    if it was Elena it would be just another one of those Delena scenes where Damon's thrilled to be touching her, Elena's trying to seem annoyed and Stefan's brooding. I liked the fact that it was a Daroline scene (still got a soft spot for this ship).

    unfortunately, it seems that the writers had some real world inspiration to create the abomination of a character that is Sage. lately I've come across young women (22-23) who are willing to stay by their man as long as he provides for them, want to get into relationships that will benefit their career or will save them from the trouble of paying full rent for a home, etc. I've heard things coming out of their mouths so similar to Sage's BS that it makes me bang my head against a wall so hard it breaks.
