Now that I have had time to take things in, I think us viewers are making a bigger deal out of the pregnancy than it really is. I think it's just supposed to shake things up a little, or breed some comments from people. But I do not think anyone is pregnant.
Exactly my thoughts. They just put it in to keep people watching - to lure Chair fans back in after their "ending" and other fan bases as well "Is she or isn't she" thats the simple question and they probably think it's interesting *yawn* I find it so ridiculous to actually be convinced that Blair is pregnant with Chuck's baby. the question will be solved like in one sentence of the first episode with some totally trivial explanation and that's it. I don't get why everyone is making such a big deal out of it.
@Lo, nice icon ;)
I've always loved that particular feeling Dan and Blair shares: working hard to get what you want and someone ends up beating them for it who put in not even a fourth of the work.
That's what really bothers me. They are working really hard for everything and then someone else gets the credit although they did nothing... Also I hate that Blair does something wrong and immediately she gets a punishment which is mostly totally over the top for what she did.
So the only way she'll be the one who would admit feelings is if something majorly emotional occurs between them.
And probably only when she is SURE that Dan feels something for her.
Like I said in my previous post, when they for instance kissed and dan initiated it or it just happened and Dan says something nice to her afterwards and strokes her cheek afterwards and I don't know, some sign to Blair that they are on the same page regarding their feelings THEN I could imagine that Blair would say something. And probably also only when she has heard from a third person that Dan likes her before. I just can't imagine that she will just show up at his doorstep and tells him her feelings. That would be very unlike Blair.
What people don't seem to get, is that you can't bring season 1 back. Not their clothing style, not their personalities, nothing. They've gone too far to make a come back, and season 1 will remain the best season so far, they will never be able to compare.
Also, I don't even care enough anymore to think about what they could do better. If I did I wouldn't even be finished until S5 actually starts.
wouldn't it be awesome if SHE told him first about her feelings? Pretty much unlike Blair, but I think it would be amazing (it would mean she really couldn't help telling him) :)
It'll be more important if she's the one to admit feelings first because the audience knows Dan has feelings for her, the audience doesn't really know how Blair feels about Dan though. it could be a great OMG moment
I see where you two are coming from and maybe I would agree but Idk... probably bc I never thought about anyone really like going to the other person's apartment telling them "Hey, and btw I like you". I always thought of it as happening more "natural". Like they watch a movie together and they end up kissing or something. Then I agree can Blair tell him that the kiss did mean something to her but she was afraid that he wouldn't feel the same way.
But I don't want another Chair-like "ILY"scene like in S2, when she finally admits she has feelings for him and he just crushes her. But then again: It's Dan we're talking about, not the Basshole ;)
@Elena, thanks for sharing. I only have to say one thing ;D :
This thread should definitely stay alive during the hiatus
Yes I found it, it was episode 3x02, but they cut out the part where he strokes her hair that's why I couldn't remember, too bad though it was so cute :(
They cut it out?? But I remember him doing it. He throws her hairband down the stairs and then strokes her hair.
