I like that too but its the kind of story that could be written very badly in the wrong hands. and lets face it, the show is in the wrong hands.
I like it.
I agree that Sylar would have made a much greater impact if he died at the end of season one.
Adam, Linderman and Season 1 Sylar are my faves but I think so many other villains were totally ruined. Like Arthur, and also the Level 5 escapees. Knox and Flint seemed real imposing when they first showed up in their gang but then half the gang was obliterated before it could make any impact, and Knox and Flint made pretty much no impact at all. But they could have been great villains.
The first season was better thought out, but I think what Heroes really needs is more of a hiatus than to be scrapped. Give it a break, refresh the writers imaginations, and then bring the characters back a few years later with a comeback series.
NBC can give them their own spin-off show. That way they can continue to destroy these characters without destroying the actual show. I like comicbookguys idea. The idea of the formula resurfacing in such an imaginative way works well because it gives the new Company an adversary. Maybe there can be instances where the anti-company attempts to recreate the formula and end up with the stuff that turned Mohinder all sticky back in season 3.
They most likely did this on purpose to keep people interested for the next season. Has Peter got his powers back or not? We have to watch to find out.
sylarisgood, I heard eastenders is actually considered a comedy in america, but I could be wrong. We do have some shit television... but then we do have some great comedies (apart from eastenders... lol). But Heroes is hardly an example of American TV. Sure, it has its flaws but to use that to stereotype all american tv as bad would be to forget decades of good stuff.
Thats a shame. I always liked reading your opinions because they balanced out the rest of the negativity.
I've no opinion on America since I've never been so can't judge. But I do know Heroes, and there is hope for it. But why bring that rant here? We don't care what you think.
Peter absorbing Eli's power and then multiplying and then absorbing multiple powers is a good idea, but somehow I dont think the writers have thought of it.
