Ack! I can't believe I read this! But I did... *Sigh*
Oh well. Thank you! I live in Australia so it's an even longer wait till the dodgy online downloading begins...
CAN'T. WAIT. FOR. CHAIR. YAY!

Hm. A Dan/Blair/Chuck triangle. Does anybody else get the feeling that if that ever actually happened Chuck would just go and put a hit on Dan? Problem solved. ;)
Well, from the thread title I thought this was going to be about how Chair is the new Nair. Thank God it's not, this is way more interesting. ;)
I s'pose the way I explained the reemergence of Nair in season 2 was that Blair felt so utterly lost, all her plans had failed, and so she latched onto that perfect fairytale in her head once more. I too feel she loved the idea of Nate, just as she loved the idea of Lord Marcus, and we all know just how good she is at convincing herself of something if she believes it's for her own good.
Still, it annoyed me that they had to use Nair to show character growth on her part, when I think she'd already gone through that process last season. And using it as a stepping stone for Chair - it annoys the hell out of me when the writers do that - you can show how brilliant and meant to be Chuck and Blair are WITHOUT a third(or fourth, ugh) party involved, you know. Otherwise it just serves to cheapen both ships.
I have read Children Afraid of the Night, and loved it. Whoever thought merging the GG tv show and book sections was clearly high, or sadistic.
Anyhoo! Just found another one-shot I love, it's pretty hilarious.
I'm from Australia, so I'm kinda used to being on here when noone else is. It's kinda annoying but...oh well. There seem to be a few insomniacs on this site anyway. :P
I loved Superstar so, so much. I get a bit sick of all the C/B fluff - it's not really them. I like the dark, intense stuff. I can't get enough of it!
We really need some more E/C fic to pass the time until we get the real deal in season 3. Because we WILL be getting some... ;)
You're welcome. I remember it got deleted a while back and I nearly had a heart attack. ;)
Oh! And I just remembered...everything by Bob5 is awesome. She has this hilarious multi-chapter full of Chuck/Eric brotherly goodness. With C/B throughout, of course.
...Here it is. I was pretty pissed off at the lack of Chuck and Eric interaction last season, this just about makes up for it, though. :)
Haha, cool. I was about to reccommend 'The Unbearable Lightness...' but it's good to know you've already discovered it. It's probably the best C/B fic out there.
Other than that...there's 'Will Not Remember, Cannot Forget' which is another 'epic' fic. All her stuff is brilliant, though.

I'm pretty sure the writers would make them 'work through it' - how can they hope to keep them in a real relationship if they just expose the problems then cover them up without any proper resolution? Sounds a bit like Nair to me. ;)
