  2. cancelled.. ending ideas?

this is typical of modern television, politics, government and democracy (i know its a little deep and over-stated, but come on....)

just because 'some' people decide they want/dont want something-the majority (which is the case with heroes-the majority which were watching in season 1 are still watching now) suffer the consequences!!

  4. Where do you think the show went all wrong?

    @ save Heroes

Your right people did stop watching after season three.

    1) right again. the biggest boo-boo was killing off adam. for me he was the best villain so far. losing bob, elle and the non-development of arthur was BULLSHIT.  arthur should have been developed over a couple of seasons-getting gradually more powerful and more evil as he got more power. his purpose was BULLSHIT-building the government army up with super-heroes???

    2) right again. the political element of nathan held so much potential for making the show plausable, even though its based on super powers. after season 2 he should have been good, good, good. and going to the government after the touching scene at the end of season 1 was BULLSHIT.

    3) right again. messing with powers is unforgivable. evolution is fine, but outright swapping and changing-giving and taking away is pathetic. if a character gets too powerful and railroads potential storylines...kill them off.

    4) right again. suresh was the scentific element. he should have stayed that way.

    5) ok. that one was a little confusing, but i think you meant this.....if your gonna have time travel in a show like heroes you develop a basis or theory and you stick to it or you get rid for good. it confuses the viewers and evidently the writers if guidelines are not followed-their own guidelines btw. its just lazy writing imo

    6) i dont agree. they were secondary characters waiting to die. micah has potential, or at least his power does. i think the show is waiting for the actor to mature slightly then they can let fly with his character. again imo

    7) right again. they tend to start a story and it either a) fizzes out. b) gets forgotten or c) ends lamely.......your right about the plot holes too (caitin)

    8) dont agree. i like sylar, but he should have died at the end of season 1. however, i'm willing to see how 'good' sylar pans out....but if it starts getting daft-kill him off.

    9) right again. i liked elle. conflicted, powerful, and she brought the best out of fellow characters.

well 6 and a half out of 9 isnt bad:) imo that is;)

  5. They always kill off the wrong characters

there has been a few characters they should not have killed off, elle, bob, adam

but the biggest sin for me is them messing with our heroes' powers, peter, hiro, suresh etc

evolution is fair, but blatant swapping and changing is unrealistic (even for a show based on super-powers)

  7. When will Season 5 start?

People are entitled to their opinions.....i just dont understand the logic of keeping watching if your disliking it so much (or commenting on a fansite)

to get back to the topic though......not sure when it will return (usually about september isnt it???)

  8. Would you care if they went back in time and changed some of the mistakes the writers made in the past seasons?

well, i dont know about anyone else but i'd mind about losing the last two seasons.

also, we'd be dropping the show into the worst period of the show's existence. we as viewers, were not ready for sylar to be turned good at that point, and it has only just been pulled off now-

if your gonna go back and change everything, go back and make sure hiro kills sylar at the end of season one. and someone tell hiro to tell peter that his dad is still alive-and DONT FRICKING GIVE HIM A HUG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  9. Sylar + Claire!??

Jessica, I agree about the similarities regarding their backgrounds and the people in their lives, but there are severe differences which are also core elements of their character.

sylar tried to control his 'hunger' (which incidently, the writers have seemingly ignored or forgotten now) and as far we (the viewers) are concerned he is over his hunger-and was over his hunger many killings ago. Sylar has been shown to be good previously (before his power kicked in) but he is a sociopath, and likes to kill-it is only since a sort of redemption whilst in parkman and his subsequent relationship building five years with peter that he has recognised a need to change.

normally i would say claire couldnt accept a changed sylar, as her core character elements conflict with sylars (good-bad-compassionate-merciless-indecisive-calculated;p) however, I agree, peters involvement and trust in sylar may tip the scales. as for sylar and claire getting it on? i doubt it-friendship or tolerence is probably the best sylar can hope for.

  10. Peter Flying ability Season Finale 2/8

it could/probably did come from sylar (peter's flight) but it is also open for intepretation.

In other episodes this season the point of peter transfering power has been clear. The finale episode was not.

did peter or sylar use telekinesis to move eli? when peter read eli's unconscious mind.

Did he get flight from sylar to fly into samuel?

Or......has peter, due to the '5 years' spent in sylar's mind trap, finally learned to empathise properly (again), resulting in being able to hold more than one ability (though restricted by having to touch)?
