3. How to succeed in Bassness

   Seriously, they'll keep going that way with Blair? ... WTF?

   I'm soo tired of this shit, and the way they keep making Chuck the "good guy", recently reformed manwhore extraordinaire, emotionally stumped Chuck, is the one calling all the shots in the relationship, where the hell are HIS insecurities?.

   I don't care for his I'm Chuck Bass approach in a relationship, I think it has no place in it, it is beyond sexist and the worst part about it is that the female population is the one that encourages this display and is ready to "glorify" him and crucify Blair at every turn.

   Are they blind about the way the writers have turned her into his little lap bitch?

   And I get the fans that are happy ‘cause Chair is together, but I’ll take them apart any time over this lack of substance and character inconsistence.

   If it can reach more people, maybe there's hope for our opinion to reach the writers.

   I wrote to them at the CW, but I guess it was a dead end.

5. Gossip Girl - Dan De Fleurette [Canadian Spoilers]

   Yeah I get that feeling too, like they feel they should be grateful for every little bone thrown at them, and they don't care about the big picture... which in the end is what matters, a solid relationship ( be as it might a fictional, tv one) in not made by stand alone moments, it needs to flow. And I'm not getting that from GG right now, it seems to be all over the place. And besides Chair, a lot of opportunities are being missed or overlooked.

6. Gossip Girl - Dan De Fleurette [Canadian Spoilers]

   Why the hell can't Blair grow at NYU? it seems the writers are bent on keeping her character in the past(and by in the past, I sadly mean S2) so they can keep knocking her down at NYU to have her prince charming, who should be anything but, come and swoop her away from the NYU "cesspool" so she can be with the one and only person who can stand her, it's ridiculous, the writers honestly suck at writing Blair.

    

   I think that towards the second half of season two they used Blair as a way to write other characters and create build up for them, mainly Chuck (They also did it with Nate). And she kinda lost what really made her tick for us, and so far the writers hadn't been able to bring that back in the show, what's worse they seem comfortable with this development.

   Like they are enamoured by Chuck Bass and the only way this shady character got redeemed in the public’s eyes was by his relationship with Blair, so now they are making it be a stand point in all his storylines, and hers too, but in a way that only has Chuck’s best interests in mind. They are morphing his character and using her as a means to do it again.

   Over all it's a shame and a total waste of the potential that the character of Blair showed in Season one and in the beginnings of Season two. And two makes a couple, so it affects CB too. I still feel the balance is not even and it bothers me 'cause it was a major point in the creation of that ship and the acceptance it got from the fans.

   It also bothers me as a woman, 'cause Blair was someone I could relate to... she seemed real to me, a bitch at times, a bit evil but with a tender and loyal side that came out to play when it was necessary and beneficial for the character growth. She had depth. Now all I see is a constant bashing of her persona, and her bowing to it time and time again. I miss the strong, independent vive she had in the beginning.

   I seriously hate the writers, when people here, at GGI of all places, can come up with better ideas for a character as awesome as Blair.

   This feeling towards Blair seems to be shared by a great deal of GG fans, whether they are Chair fans or not. And it makes me wonder what the hell are the GG's marketing and PR people doing? Why are they so blind to fan's opinion?

8. All Things Chair

    

   WTF are they doing to Chuck? ... it's so frustrating seeing him so... dull.

   We had the headache in the first ep, then the nap in the middle of the day in the next one... now turning down office sex ... aaaaaaaaaand been doing so for 5 days!! .

   I'm happy with the "cute" chair, but when I see Blair kissing Chuck and him keeping his hands in his pockets I can't help but feel cheated.

   We get naked Nate and Bree and PG Chair?!???!.

   Them being sexy and fun doesn’t mean that their relationship is less serious. (I want scenes like Hi, society or The Dark night!!!) The witty banter, the sexual innuendos, the passion, the sex, are all things that are a huge part of Chair and it’s like they view them as incompatibles with them in a relationship. And we get Ed and Leighton and all that sexual tension being held back and THAT makes for some awkward vive in the scenes (imo).  

   It's even worse that the whole thing comes off as Chuck being not that into Blair. She's the one always initiating, and he keeps turning her down... or answering with freaking pecks!!!.

   Ughh why is so hard for the writers to write a balanced Chair?? And why won't they listen to the fans???
