CHAIR FOREVER. Going through with Dair just shows that Gossip Girl isn't made for real relationships. They spend so much time leading towards a couple only for one of them to end up with the most unlikely partner. If they were just gonna go to Dair, why have all those Chair moments in the Saints and Sinners episode?
It was a good episode but I hate the direction that's leading towards Dair.
I'm still for Chair!! I hate the direction that they're going into with this. Why does everyone have to be with every other person in the cast??
There's srsly something wrong with Serena's mindset on men!! I agree that she seems to just jump on the next guy she sees and if someone were to summarize all the men that she's been with, well, that will be quite a long list.
However, Ben could be different. I don't necessarily know if they'll hook up but Ben obviously plays a monumental role in her life. When she was talking to the therapist that's what we saw. That Ben was the first guy who ever rejected her and that possibly taught her a thing or two. And when she said that she was in love with him, "as in love as she had been at that point", it shows that Ben was something real for her. Someone who saw her for something positive. Based on those things, I definitely see them as a possibility.
I'm all about protecting your family but Lily obviously hit the "OUT OF BOUNDS" line years ago. Apparently, all the bad things that have recently happened are all caused by her selfish desire to have a good image. She's obviously gone too far and if I were Serena, I don't know how I could ever forgive her.
Towards the end of the episode I thought that Dan and Serena were a sealed deal for the next couple of episodes. But the last scene between Dan and Blair is misleading. I still hate the idea of Dair!!
Ugh I dread the idea of these two SO BADLY.
I think this would be a good time for Elena to see that Stefan isn't as perfect as she thought! I agree though that i wouldn't want Elena to fall into Damon's arms for the wrong reasons but I think this should be something that makes Elena reconsider things.
No, he's a wolf. He'll be transforming into that soon as well. I think they're just gonna get some more aggressive wolves into the story then we'll see Tyler turn.
The thing about Stefan is that he undoubtedly loves Elena. He's willing to go through anything for her sake even if it means getting trapped in a cave. What's beautiful about Stefan and Elena together is that you can see how deep their love and their connection is. Since the series started, what we've seen between these two is a real kind of growth and maturity in a relationship wherein both have to learn where their limits are. Elena and Stefan both feel the need to protect one another and their love has also caused them danger. We've seen them having to deal with knowing when to back off. Stefan seems like the ideal guy though because he acts according to what he knows Elena needs.
However, sometimes, "ideal" can become boring. I think that it would be good for the writers to dive into what Damon and Elena could be as a couple and with Stefan stuck in that cave, now would be a good time. I personally like Damon because you can tell how he has changed because of Elena. It's not that he's changing for her, it's that he's changed because of her. Elena simply makes him a better "person" and it would be interesting to see how much more he can develop if he were with Elena.
