Well, probably the last thing I will ever be an "Ass" about is the great input (although we are a bias ship) from this thread. It was nice, friendly, and collective (even to trolls). Perhaps reaching this stage of acceptance is a better fate; unless there really is a 11th Hour play at which point I will turn hypocrite. But it in the likely scenario of this ship being sunk, I bid you all the best. YOU ARE THE BEST SHIP FANS as far as I'm concerned. UJ.
BTW, "Incase I don't see ya, good afterDair, good evenDair and good Dair!
Holy Moly that was a good Once Upon a Time finale... Thanks The Powers that Be it was renewed..
My Dair goggles also fogs any logical reason to watch Gossip Girl most of the time as well. But to list a few in Season 3: there was Jenny who I didn't find as a bad character until she spiralled into a pit of despair in that very season, the prospect (not reality) of certain guest stars such Lizzie Mcguire (Hilary Duff), the prospect of a College Storyline, and there of course Eric (Connor Paulo) who never managed to get a full casting position. And at that very time because the series was loosely based on the sequel book by CVW so there was so suppose to be an ending where Blair and Serena gave up their fixation on Nate and fled away to Paris with their friendship intact. Dan fled to find Vanessa, while Chuck was a minor returning character to say to Blair, I'm changed now and we had our chance, but wasn't meant to be. Though not ending exactly like that, it did result in Blair/Serena in good terms heading to Paris, Dan in a noble/responsible state while Chuck got redeemed by possibly dying.
* Shanghai (not Shangkai).
@Snooker83, Whoops my bad. Yes of course Community was not axed, I just inferred from a comment about community and 30 rock being axed.
As for me, I'm on Stage 4 of the grief, 'Bargaing,' as I have all did pre-order the NTSC version BluRay version from Amazon.com for myself (due Aug 28th) and I pre-ordered the PAL version from JBHIFI for my cousin in Australia.
As for the Producer Preview and previous page discussion there is going to a 'Time Skip' from different parts of the episode. If the spoilers are correct there are different locations:
1.) Shangkai Reference:
Now that the series finale is just around the corner, E! Online spoils us with some juicy details about the casino themed happening..
Something about Chuck and Blair would be great. What about the return of the ring? A highly placed show insider tells us fans should take the event Ed Westwick and Leighton Meester attended on April 27, the grand opening of Harry Winston’s new store in Shanghai, as a major Gossip Girl finale clue. Hmmm…
2.) Dan is hanging out with Georgina in a location together outside of limo.
Again, nothing new.
If there is a Dair ending this season, there probably is no reason to 'hate' this season at all. After all, it would quite symmetrical. You begin with the discussion of the 8 letter word mystery and end it with a Roman reunion surprise ending with Blair stating it back.
i.e. Even if there was a re-cycled -reunion of Chair (despite promised that Blair makes a decision) back in season 6, we should be grafeful that Blair and Dan are fine symmetrically this season.
But. If it is a Chair ending this season, I'm going to wonder was the point?
My inner nerd would state that it was then a combination of a pre-destination paradox and Chaos Theory that allowed a human perception of random events, jumbled storylines, and a lot of hurt that got Chuck and Blair back togther.
Thus, I still pray for an isommetrical pattern:
Not that I watch a lot of these other shows but any reactions for:
1.) Secret Circle = Cancelled.
2.) Nikita = Renewed, full season.
3.) Hart of Dixie = Renewed.
4.) Ringer = Cancelled.
5.) New shows all being produced: Cult, Arrow, and Carrie Diaries.
6.) Parenthood renewed.
7.) Community = Axed?
8.) Fringer renewed = half a season.
@No Second Troy, I'm probably going to Ape-Sh#$ if it a Chair Ending on Mondair. That said, if it ends in a True Dair Ending on monday, I'm going to fight full force on the article threads... this civility I've adopted doesn't suit me.
Either way, it seems I'm going destroy this Hell-mouth.
Apparently Gossip Girl got renewed, not to anybody that cares I suppose....
