    @Liza, this so much! he always leaves town when something mjaor happens, I think he should just leave permanently. I heard Trevino is probably gonna come next season but as a guest star or something.

    Tyler is the only sensible male character in the show who did not spend time abusing women or showcasing male superiority. He was someone equal to caroline and someone who developed alongside caroline.You're talking about season 2 right?

    Lately he's just there, not mentioning his wooden and expressionless face.....they should"ve given him a dignified exit though than having Klaus hunt him out town and giving him a head start. They've made him spineless and beyond annoying.

    I know this is a little stale as almost everyone has been anticipating his leaving mystic falls but I though this deserves a thread of it's own lol. I've been having problems with commenting on anything with my phone cos the mobile site seems to be malfunctioning Cry.

    Finally Tyler has left, couldn't wait for him to leave. It was really getting annoying watching Mr Caroline Forbes, I seriously hope he doesn't come back, that he'll be in hiding like Katherine. 

    And the way he was written this since last season, with total neglect. His 'I want to kill Klaus" plans failing all the time and it was really getting embarassing watching Klaus belittle him each and every episode they interracted. And the way Caroline massaged his ego...gosh I could just puke. has Tyler ever led anyone besides those hybrids that Klaus slaughtered?

    Oh well, so much to say but, a drink to seeing Tyler gone for a long while Laughing

    @Kitanishi. Yes Lisbeth had to be saved at some point but so did the hero. She actually saved his ass numerous times, and in the first book, the hero was the one who needed saving. I'd say Lisbeth and Mikael were equals, in fact I can safely say she was more than his equal in many ways, not to mention she was a genius too. The hero heavily relied on her than the other way round. And throughout the whole trilogy they never toned down her character to suit the hero. And even after she was cleared from prosecution by the hero's sister whom she took a very long time to trust. She still went and committed a vengeful murder, committed fraud got millions and fled the country. Without Mikael, Lisbeth could still stand out as a character from start to end.

    @Katherine. You should try the whole trilogy. I found the books quite enjoyable and a depature from the stereotypical heroine. I also found Lisbeth's character quite dark, disturbing and interesting at the same time.

    Had almost forgotten.....I think book Lisbeth Salander from Stieg Larsson's Girl With The Dragon Tattoo is quite okay compared to the other heroines, she's definately a character on her own.
