201. Dare to Dair?

     You've been in rome then? From where in france are you from btw? I've been to paris a couple of times and I love it and I travelled the south of france with my parents when I was 13 which was also very beautiful (I've also been to monaco, Louis' home lol)

     I don't dislike her but I don't like her either if you know what I mean...I like her in men prefer blondes and in some like it hot. She has a nice voice but she always plays the same type of characters. I've recently seen the movie my week with marylin where michelle williams plays marylin and she is soo good! She really speaks like her and from certain angles she really looks like her too!

     Funny face is nice but not great. I definitely prefer fred astaire with ginger rogers. And audrey hepburn for me will always be breakfast at tiffany, sabrina and roman holiday. I really like her in my fair lady too but after I found out that she is not the one singing the songs I was disappointed...

     I'm italian, from rome to be more specific.

     The sound of music is lovely! I also really like jesus christ superstar, my fair lady, west side story, singin' in the rain, guys and dolls, cabaret and the phantom of the opera.

     I've heard maurice in both english and french. I prefer to watch movies in the original language with subtitles when I can. I recently found out that he also sang the title track for the disney movie the aristocats! lol

     Gaston accent was also a lot better that louis'!! Louis is soo irritating when he speaks! You should read the recaps on http://nowhitenoise.com/category/photo-recap/ where they make fun of louis. They are hilarious!

     Yes the songs were amazing! Plus maurice chevalier is always wonderful! I must be one of the few people who actually liked gaston. ^_^ His songs are my favourite. She is not thinking of me is a hoot and the one he sings after he realizes he is in love with gigi is very romantic I think. Unfortunatley he does look like louis but he is a lot funnier! And louis jourdan is a much better actor!

     @DJR The comments at imdb said that mon oncle is actually better than vacances that's why I chose that as my second tati movie! I'll watch jour de fete after that! You're french right? So you probably know best!

     I saw gigi many times! I even have the dvd! Musicals are my favourites and I really love gigi!
