I definitely like Stefan - I just don't like him with Elena, and vise versa. I think together they water each other down and are very one note. Apart however, I really enjoy both of them. I'd say I especially like watching Stefan when he's interacting with Katherine as she brings out a more interesting side of him.
Damon is not going to die. The writers would literally have to be brain dead to think that was a good idea - but their not, so they know that Damon is a HUGE reason why a lot of viewers tune in.
She really does have guts! I've loved her in the past two episodes - I'm really enjoying watching the Elena that holds her own against these physically superior beings. First last week with stabbing the werewolf dude, then throwing him off her trail, then stabbing him again - and now this week with standing up to Elijah, actually making him lose his cool (which no one has been able to do up until now) by having the courage to stab herself, and then killing him!
Elena has definitely earned my respect.
woaw i think damon thought it was elena nakedd
HAHA I thought exactly the same thing! The look on his face was hilarious - he was like 'Is this really happening? Oooh it's Katherine...'
it was like a mini-movie
ITA - it was SO rollercoaster like as well. Tons of awesome subplots, and twists and turns at every corner; Damon's gonna kill Elijah, no wait he can't or else he'll die, Alaric just killed Elijah!, no wait he's not really dead, Elena stabbed herself!, then she stabbed Elijah!, now he's dead!, oh and Katherine got out of the tomb!
HOLY CRAP HOW AMAZING WAS THIS EPISODE?!?!
I was literally on the edge of my seat the entire time - there was the always awesome Alaric/Damon bromance, Elijah being cool then being stabbed and dead then alive then really dead, great Bonnie/Jeremy scenes with a side of "Dude he just stole her powers!!", flashbacks with Lexi (yay!), not to mention the epic Elena/Elijah showdown where I was literally yelling "Go Elena, Go Elena, Go El--DUDE, SHE JUST STABBED HERSELF!"
...so yeah, I liked this episode. Your thoughts?
Take 2 of Quinn/Finn is just another piece of evidence telling me that this show has zero sense of continuity. Finn couldn't forgive Rachel for kissing Puck, but he could forgive Quinn for sleeping and having a baby with him???
Bonnie is a strong and kind women, and jeremy (in my opinion) is a young (but atractive) teenager who can´t keep up with her. (in Damons Words:a 16 year old CHILD)
Bonnie may be a strong person, but I think you're forgetting that she is also a teenager - only 17, maybe 18. She's still technically a kid; though I do think her and Jeremy are both a lot more mature than their age dictates, simply due to the fact that they've been through so much in the past couple years.
As for the Bonnie/Damon reasonings - I just can't really see them as more than friends (if that). They have very different philosophies on life and what's 'right'. I'd be curious to see how the writers would write a friendship between them, but I just don't really see it being a romantic thing.
Personally, I really like the dynamic that Katerina Graham and Steven R. McQueen, and I think they have tons of chemistry. I'm liking how, unlike last season, their relationship is showing the audience a different side of both the characters - a happy side.
Anyways, those are my thoughts on the topic
I want the writers killed off the show.
When you say Katy, you think of a cute girl with a shy smile and has a heart full of sunshine and bunnies.
Ha - yeah, for some reason the name 'Katherine' is much more badass than any nicknames. My guess is that she told them her name was Kathy in an attempt to hide her identity, rather then them coming up with it on their own.
