Yep guys the episode was kind of based on the Audrey Hepburn film Charade. Here are some videos for you to get aquainted with. Don't hate the writers. This was actually a cool experiment. It wasn't cliched too.
Hi all :) I will talk to you all tonight and then no talking here until I've seen the finale! :)
The action scene was off but I will fill the gaps in myself. The main thing is that Bart dying was necessary. Blair and Lily were in danger. He had already attempted to kill Chuck twice. He was responsible for two murders. EVERYONE was in danger of Bart. He was so scary. He was always one step ahead. I loved what Chuck got to say to his Dad before he died. The talk about being a man. Twas necessary. It's sad that it got to that dramatic point though. If you rewatch Season 1 and a little of Season 2, Chuck and Bart had a chance to figure it all out. Heck they had a chance when he returned from the dead too. Chuck should have hated him but he saved him and was a good man.
I'm still Team Derena. But I'm no longer 100% on Dan's side because I found out he was originally using Serena. If it weren't the case I'd be on Dan's side completely. Dan made a mistake, and he is paying for it from everyone. He isn't getting forgiven instantly. So he will deserve Serena after this penance. The same as Chuck did with Blair.
Chair's kiss was honestly one of their most perfect kisses. The set up may have been a bit off, but the way Leighton and Ed kissed was explosive and they fitted against each other more perfectly than ever. It was a good kiss.
Loved the girl power take down. Hopefully it becomes relevant to the next episode as well, especially since Georgina handed out evidence.
I warmed up to Sage. I still don't like her age. But she is a good woman for Nate.
On the promo:
I KNEW Dan was connected to the identity of GG. I said it many times guys that he was connected in some way. There was no way he was actually GG but he did have a connection to the identity.
Cheering that we see the proposal. Chuck looks hot when he's messy in that white blouse. Chair cuddling in the car is adorable. Can't wait for the wedding. There is no way Chuck will be able to be charged. Even if they could prove he was there on the roof with Blair, it was still self defence. Bart was GUILTY.
Was Blair's dream from the film Charade? What movie was it? Because I looked up the synopsis of Charade and it kind of fits in with the episode. Especially since the music was used again during Bart's death.
If Dan is Gossip Girl, he is only Gossip Girl this season. He wasn't the original one or the one all along. He somehow became Gossip Girl this season. Even that is a far stretch. Also, Kristen Bell is doing some scenes on Gossip Girl so she'll probably be revealed as Gossip Girl. wouldn't she?
You know why else Chuck is good for Blair? Blair has this whole issue with not believing she is special or amazing and that's partially why she schemes so much and can be immature. It's why she was bulimic. She doesn't believe she has anything natural going for her. But when you see her relax and let go of all that at Victrola, and just be her natural self, Chuck falls in love with her. He literally must make her feel so special because he isn't supposed to feel that way about anyone because he's Chuck Bass. How flattering must it feel to her that she caught Chuck Bass's heart. She's that amazing of a person, and he first fell in love when she wasn't even trying to be amazing. She was just having some relaxed fun.
Does anyone else find it kind of hilarious when Chuck and Georgina speak to each other? I mean, she has his virginity. She knows what a first-time Chuck Bass looks like. "Georgina and I have a special connection."
Let's all face it. We can't guess who GG is by their closeness to everyone or how they find out everything. We can only guess through how they've talked about or mentioned GG in the past. Dan has defended GG more than once so I believe he has a connection with her. Diana knew a lot about controling the media and information to influence politics, business and people's lives so she definitley either was Gossip Girl or is connected to Gossip Girl. I also maintain that the operator of the Gossip Girl site has changed more than twice. I don't think the orginator is in possesion of it right now.
im pretty sure gg gets out and about and the person getting the laptop from the brothel proves that. everyone is not just sending in every tip that gg blast.
Yes but you're claiming that this person finds the information themself. When no one sent GG tips in season 5 she had nothing to post. In the season 2 finale, she said she was nothing without them. GG is only as powerful as the tips she gets given.
Here guys I constructed an image for you. The only things that are wrong is the fact that Dan was initially there to see Blair and also that he didn't have a hoodie on him. But there still is a strong chance that its him taking the laptop. Whoever it is, it's definitley a guy picking up that laptop.
ERIC HAS INFO ON ALL OF IT..HE FOUND THE ENVELOPES OF BART'S WITH LILY AND SERENA'S PAST DISCRETIONS, AND S2 FINALE WITH JOHNATHAN "HACKED" GG'S SERVER NEVER REALLY SET RIGHT WITH ME...SO IT'S EITHER ERIC OR JOHNATHAN IN MY BOOK AND FROM THE LOOKS OFLAST YR, IT APPEARS THAT GG IS A GUY
For God's sake. Everyone knows that GG runs on everyone else's tips that they send in. GG is not a stalker following people around or digging for information about them. It's a someone sitting behind a computer screen receiving all of the info.
I don't think Dan was GG all along but I think he is the one who picked up the GG laptop in the video that Diana sent Nate. He somehow became connected to GG. He's not Gossip Girl though I assure you. Neither is Rufus because why would Rufus release the secret about his lovechild with Lily to GG? The Humphreys are not GG. They're probably connected to who she is but they aren't her.
