Guys you need to watch 2x14 again! It had some of the best one liners and moments. It's a sneaky episode. Not just the Chair, but the Jeric and Derena. Jack and Chuck's banter in the principals office is so funny in a twisted, dark way.

Sorry but I totally understand Chuvk and where he's coming from. You need to remember that Chuck and Blair belong together because of their needs outside of their relationship. They are the only ones who understand that about each other and its partially why they are in love. So if Chuck were to just marry Blair in this lost state of his right now it would be like Blair marrying Chuck without any success as a powerful business woman. It's not fair at all. Blair has made Chuck wait twice now for this reason. So they can be real equals. So why can't Chuck do the same?
Also, ep7 proved to me that it's not just about defeating his Dad or his anger at his Dad. It IS like Chuck said in the limo in ep1. He's doing this for Blair. It's his way of being able to man up for her and his way of finding his way in the world. In the past he hasn't treated her properly while doing this. He's trying to keep Blair away from this because if it came down to it he would choose Blair over advancing forward in his mission. So he's not allowing there to be a reason for that. I think he doesn't trust himself as well. He still doesn't believe everyone won't abandon him unless he can man up in this way. And he was abandoned by Lily AND Nate last week. It's just the thing he didn't need to experience

The scene with Nate and Chuck at the bar kind of reminded me of the scene where Serena told Blair she killed someone. The music and dialogue created the perfect tension. I felt emotional watching it

I hate Lily. I don't pity her in any way. Even when you looked at how her parents were in that flashback episode. They weren't like Chuck's parents. She has no excuse being that evil. I don't believe she could become that cold person. Bart just scares me at this point. I'm starting to realise just how sick he is. He's no longer in the category of sane. That's why I hate Lily more.
