Leighton usually says positive things about what SL she's working on at the moment and plus it's clear she likes both couples CHAIR and DAIR and working with Ed and Penn. Blair isn't in a place to choose Dan since Dan isn't an option yet.But at the snail place they're going right now, it would be more shocking if they don't do Dan and Blair by the end of the season. I just think it's all too much for Blair -- almost getting married and then bouncing into another relationship with another guy? But I could see Blair finding feelings for Dan and realizing him as an interest.By season's end Dair is going to be a full fledged relationship or they're going to be bust - I could see them extending Dair into season 6. I don't think they're ever going to reunite CB or break up Dan and Blair for Chuck and Blair.

I'm pretty sure Tvline reported that Taylor Momsen would NOT be coming back in an article about the wedding guests where it confirmed that Harold (B's dad) would be returning.

jenny hasn't been on the show since 4.10, i don't get the big deal of her leaving permanently, they said they'd appear as guest stars at some point. It's not like TMomsen is on her bed crying - she's out there doing what she loves, making music.

Gossip Girl's Resident Villain
i) chuck is the villian
ii) Serena is a natural schemer- van der woodsen blood. She just chooses not to do it because she usually feels guilty.
iii) not all times B has schemed where she didn't lose something due the scheme/not feel remorse for what she did. A really important scene in which she felt horrible about what she did is 1.03 when she embarasses serena and learns about Eric and feels guilty. there are other instances but that comes to mind first.
iv) That always pissed me off in the books where B doesn't get into any of her top schools and Seerena does.

Any reasons that chuck could redeem himself?
i think chuck's redemption would have to be a season arc- which judging by previous storylines the writers aren't going to be able to accomplish. Basically they have screwed over chair fans and gg fans and they could care less.

Gossip Girl': Is Chuck Bass abusive? E.P. says no; we beg to differ
as a chair fan, this is just apalling. I don't condone Chuck's actions at all. There needs to be serioous repurcussions and if the writers are really going to slide this incident under the rug I won't be able to ship them anymore. I'm going to wait for the next two eps and see the direction they take because Chair may be on Chairs but that doesn't make it a reunion.
The writers need to once and for all decide the fate of Chuck and Blair whether it will continue in this emotional, unhealthy relationship or if their is redemption for Chuck and he willl grow to truly become a better man.
