Well, unfortunately the writers don't go around to every viewer and take their order of who do you want us to keep in the show. This is a show full of twists and turns and the writers know what their doing so just sit down buckle up and come along with the ride.

Why Was Damon?...
Can someone please explain to me and in full detail why when Stefan apologized to Elijah for his part in his death, and said I will always protect Elena, why Damon was staring at Stefan with such hatred and tears in his eyes? I understood a minor part of it but I would like someone to explain to me in detail why that happened. Thanks.
