Beth in New York?

I remember awhile back that Idina Menzel was confirmed to appear in season two, and we are one episode away..and no Idina. Which brings me to the rumor that Beth would be appearing in New York. When Finn asked Quinn about New York in the end of Funeral, she mentioned something 'big' for New York? Could this be about Beth? The writers have history of keeping things underwraps and I believe an appearance like this is worth keeping a secret.

Why are Shelby and Beth in NY and how at this point could Quinn have possibly known (let alone why she treated that info as a threat to Finn)? What a weird twist, I thought she'd just quit NDs seconds before going on to piss off everyone. If they ARE there I'd have thought it'd be a surprise for Quinn/Puck. To have Quinn know makes no sense as to her allluding to Finn she would cause trouble in NY, why would he care (she was making out like it'd be revenge or something, seeing her baby in NY is hardly revenge on Finn).

This seems a little far fetched to me but I would absolutely love it! I'd love anything with Idina Menzel. But if Quinn were to reconnect with Beth and all that, I'd think it would be something more dramatic. Meaning there'll be a leading storyline to it before springing up Idina and the baby back.

I thought so too! But then again I don't see why Quinn would taunt Finn with the idea of her plan... unless she hopes something will happen with Puck to make Finn jealous.

I sooooooo hope so! But in all honesty I doubt it because it seems like the writers have completely forgotten about it

when the writers were like "yeah and beth is happy in new york with shelby"
the quick shippers were like "JDAPOJSDOAIDFHOISDHFNOAJMLDKANFLAH"
and then nothing happened
that was fun
