yeah and in 2x15, blair was called "wife", what, like, 2 or three times. once by jack, once by chuck and once by herself (correct me if im wrong). so something tells me that the writers were think ahead...;)

I don't think the masked girl is Blair. And the part of Chuck kissing the girl without the mask...I don't think it looks like her either. Wow. I guess we'll have to wait til Monday to see! lol
How do I get to than Fanpop page that ProteinShake writes? I can't find her on there.

Okay people after looking though various discussion and research over this promo, did we ever consider that this mysterious older woman with Chuck in the promo could possibly be one of the new people coming to gossip girl? I'm pretty certain that the woman is the actress Kate French who's supposed to guest star on a few episodes as stated earlier. She's supposed to be the mysterious Nanny named Elle and gets involved with Ed Westwick. Believe me people this story really fits, just look at her picture on google and the one that's doing the voiceover for this promo that we can't identify as one of our 'beloved' main characters is ALSO her. IF you don't believe me at least read the article saying she's coming to the show:

I think this story really fits, WHY she suddenly appears is another story but i'm sure it will be just as scandelous as the rest.

i don't know. they are really starting to hype stuff up since the ratings are down. like they even said the secret with jack and blair isn't even that big (though, it still pisses me off that the rest of us don't know what it is). so, it wouldn't be too much of a shocker if she came, slept with chuck and left. do we expect anything less of the cheeky little bastard?

plus, she's not even only on a 2 episode plot line, not a three that is usually the norm. so you know it can't be that long of a story.

i'm assuming this is mainly just to build the tension between chair and hype up everything for a certain reason. Fanpop seems to be on the right track: 'The nanny thing is a minor plotline. However that plotline I would not give away because it becomes a major issue in the future.' (i'm assuming maybe this somehow brings blair and chuck together, uh maybe?)
'b)Chuck is not dead to Blair by any means, and neither is she to him. ' (obviously Chair is far from over, so don't freak out people)
')Vanessa & Nate are not going anywhere couple wise. They will be helping Chuck eventually work out an issue that may or may not involve Blair as well.' (aka helping chuck in the next episodes, i'm assuming?)
'The secret with Jack will be revealed eventually. Don't count on it being as major as everyone thinks it is. It may be a good thing disguised as a bad thing. ' (i'm actually assuming this has to deal with Blair's bulimia, maybe Jack actually helped her out on new years? it's a thought anyway and i also heard that chuck finds out about her bulimia problems and he helps her through it which brings them closer together. i think that was on spoilertv if you want to research it)
'The core couple that will come back together is not Dan&Serena or Nate with anyone, he is with Vanessa and it will stay that way. ' (i have absolutely NO idea on this 'core' couple unless it's ironically rufus and lilly, but hey let's not forget about the lovechild saga that will be soon approaching us...)
and on spoilertv they have a fairly interesting rumor: 'blair will have an internal conflict about her college decision, C and her future. Something huge will be riding on all three' (now i hope to god that doesn't mean a pregnant story is in the works, but what else could that mean?)
