ahah lmfaoo. it was pretty awkwardd.. its like okaay were fine with out kids dating and sleeping with eachother even though they share a brotherr.. hmm thats very normall.
aandd as for c/b i dont nessicarly think that thell actually have the title of bf and gf, but i do think that in the next 9 episodeds, theyy difinatly bbe some more hot and romantic C/B scences just like at the begining of season 2. im almost sure of it (:

like what if we all found out that chuck and blair shared a sibling. i dont think wee would want them to stop loveing eachother, and stop doing what they do best (:... its an interesting situation.

I hope their bro ends up being a psychotic killer who actually killed the other one...kinda Cain and Abelish. Hahaha...actually, no...maybe.
He's apparently coming in April, I thought I read somewhere. I wonder who will play him...will he be blonde or a brunette.
Pam - read one of the new spoilers in the spoiler thread...Kristen from E! says that a core couple will get back together and she wants to cry. I don't think they're tears of joy which means IMO Nate and Blair are gonna be a couple again (don't know for how long but can you imagine what an AHOLE Nate would be to do that to Chuck?)

heres what i wrotee :
chuck and blair are definatly NOT over for good. the writers know what the viewers want and they also know that we will keep watching. i think that they are going to plan something that is gonna make those 3 little words from chuck be worth the wait. but they cant make them be together now. think about it, if C/B get together now... well what is GG has like 5 seasons. if they get together in season 2, then wat about 3,4,5. there will be nothing to write about. they cant just have them be a happy couple for 3 seasons. that would be really boring. we have to be patient. we will get exactly what we want. and jack ass is gone next episode. in that new years promo nate punshes him in the face. chuck probably threatens him to leave the country and pretty soon the old chuck will be back (:
as for the "blair wouldnt touch you " scene.. that is pretty much done with, because although those words wernt said this episode... why whould chuck wear the same outfit again. he was wearing the same thing that he wore in todays episode. i think that they weere going to reveal the NYE secret but then decided to cut it out for next week.
and if my prediction turns out to bee totally wrong.. well then nate is an asshole for doing that.like i really thought that N/C would become bestt buddies like before. i dont think nate would do that. and who know.. maybe they are tears of joyy.. accept they said something about thinking of who you started off with when your at promm, and that would be nate... i realy really hope blair and nate dont take that path.. and if they do ..well then lets hope its done and over with quickly so that we could bet back to the truee core couple which is chuck and blair of coursee (:

i'm sorry, but this whole 'blair wouldn't touch you' (or more importantly, BIG FREAKING LACK THEREOF) thing has got me offended. writers/creative editors/promo powers that be: W.T.F?!?!?!
i've studied the scene a couple times now, and it almost definitely took place as c confronted jack as he was eating c's eclairs after the brunch fiasco. he probably said it as he was leaving, but with c apologizing to b after that with no mention of it, it would've looked weird and i understand why it was cut out.
what i do not understand, however, is WHY IT WAS PUT IN THE STUPID PROMO IN THE FIRST PLACE IF IT WASN'T IN THE EPISODE. how are we supposed to believe anything else that happens in those promos? for all we know, next week's episode could be all about dorota (not that i would mind; it seems infinitely more interesting that what's to come).
i've been reading here that people want to give up on gg because this episode was bad. i don't think it was bad so much as it was not what we wanted, but it really was very well written and interesting. a bad episode is like the thanksgiving one 'the magnificent archibalds'. i didn't even bother with that one and it made no difference to my understanding of any episodes after.
don't be mad at gg for this epi, it was a good one. jack's scheme was pretty well played, and it is true, the only one getting in the way of c is c. i loved b's elevator speech, she pointed out something very necessary: "it's no one's fault but your own." jack may have thrown in those models, but c didn't have to like it. and he certainly didn't have to be sniffing anything off a desk, let alone the one in his father's office. there was lots of good c/b moments, like when he nodded at her reading the letter, and jack clearly seeing that she is his strength, she's what makes him a better man and why jack knows he has to get rid of her.
i for one like jack, he's a good actor. that biotch of a teacher that is coming up though looks definitely not fun.
and as for the spoiler about an old couple, did anyone stop to think that maybe it'd be GEORGIE AND DAN?
here's what we know: d/s, c/b, lily/rufus, n/b, n/v, and n/j (oh that nate, what a manwhore) were pretty core. perhaps it's NATE AND JENNY? i don't know what this kristen would cry about, if it's tears of happiness then we all know it's CHUCK AND BLAIR ALL THE WAY!!!!

I think the "Blair wouldn't touch you" scene HAS to be in the next episode, it has to! It only makes sense, because obviously Chuck HAS to find out. However, the promo peeps got it wrong, they should've put it in the upcoming weeks'. Instead they make the upcoming weeks' look lame with the new teacher.

I hope she means tears of joy, A...I really do, but I'm a pessimist by nature and think she means tears of horror and sadness which would pt to a Nate/Blair pairing, although...who's to say it's really not just for old times'sake..prom or whatever.
Core Couple of the series is what she says and that's not Georgina and Dan....
Core = Blair and Nate, Serena and Dan, Rufus and Lily, Chuck and Blair...I don't really think of anyone else, I guess maybe Serena and Nate but why would she be sad over that? I'd be happy!
PAM - I completely agree with your observations...I wouldn't mind a Blair/Nate hookup episode arc (so 3 episodes) in which they try to be a couple but realize it's not meant to be FOR GOOD by the end of it. They do need closure as a couple and they never really got it, so if this is what the writers have in mind, then I'm all for it.
I read a spoiler that CHUCK (it's in one of the spoiler forums of some other site) will be fighting for more than Bass Industries..I'm thinking Blair is the other thing, so the Nate thing maybe would make sense then.
I guess, yeah...at the end of high school, you always get nostalgic and tend to latch on to the past, to who you started your journey with, but ultimately, that is temporary and then you move on. It's all nostalgia and wanting to latch on to the past. I never found Nate and Blair good together...they have no chemistry and I'm talking about the actors. Chuck just has to look at Blair...
But yeah...he needs to grovel!

The BLAIR WON"T TOUCH YOU promo...they obviously film a lot and I bet they film alternate scenes just to see if they make sense but then get rid of them on the cutting room flr or use them to trick the audience at home.
I don't think this actual scene will come up again but I doubt this secret remain such...seriously have you ever known writers to just drop something like this..something that could potentially episodes down the line put another road block in front of CHAIR?
