This episode left me in tears!!! I was so rooting for a chuck and blair reunion scene and those three little words to leave his mouth! as soon as the episode was over I was PISSED.....for the false advertising, for chuck's stupidity and inability to say what blair clearly needed to here. But after reading through the forum and watching the episode the second time I realize that you're right. Blair needed to break this off it was completely unhealthy and Chuck is NOT ready to be the man she believes he can be. I agree with the Nate and Blair theories. If anyone here has read the books they know that Nate and Blair broke up and got back together a million times and they probably will here. Nate will be upset over Vanessa leaving him for that older man we keep hearing about (WISH IT WAS BASSHOLE...the deserve each other) and Blair will be upset about Chuck, plus graduation...they'll just kind of reach for the familiar and hopefully the end of the season will be Chuck fighting for Blair and a FINAL CHAIR REUNION the ones the fans deserve...with three words, eight syllables

this episode was SUCH a letdown... why, WHY did he not say "i love you" when he was in the elevator?! it would have been perfect!!! i was literally yelling at the television during that scene. considering everything that he's done to her, i think blair was right to end things, and i'm actually proud of her for being so tough. but then he could have fixed it by telling her he loved her!!!!! gahhhhhhhhhhhhh so frustrating! but there is absolutely no way that chuck and blair are done for good... everyone loves them, and they're just so perfect. i think they'll probably just tone things down for a little (sigh), maybe let some other story lines develop, and then things will start happening again. and also i think it's important to remember that jack bass is still going to be around for a few more episodes, so all that drama has to unfold, and chuck's inevitably going to find out about jack and blair. so that's sure to lead to plenty of chair action. keeping my fingers crossed for some much better chuck & blair scenes SOON!

i do not like this show at all i think is the worst ever hate chuck so much even do i love him, and the wife sentence that would probably would hurt me most than other he had already said.. how can he be this jerk all the timw with the only woman that doesnt care about money, that likes him for what he is even is he is a bad boy, the girl that suppose to be with old money, gentleman and is in love with him a rebel new money hate him so much...
and cheers to blair because i think today it was really enough of been a masochist of being hurt by a selfish man good one blair..
but that really means that im still waiting cb!! and for the very first time im not feeling this crazy about watching the next ep for the very first time i'm thinking i had enough about this too and for the very first time im feeling really dissapoiment on gg and the chair relantionship.
you know what fanfic storylines are better than the ones on tv!!! and the girls that write them really take a good view of both of them!

so i might be considered the odd one out of the group but i absolutely loved the chair scenes of this episode
i also enjoyed jack, what he did was incredibly cruel but it was neccesary
i think that this will completely chuck for the better he need to truly lose everything to build character , remember he had all hes wanted his whole life
i thought that chuck deserved being told off to by blair
and as much as i hate to say this i kinda think the whole "wife" thing was kinda a possibility for them in a future season
probably like season 5 or 6
that was a tear jerkeer... although i didnt cry!
iliked the dan nate makeup that was necessary
i liked how nate for once was there for chuck who needs someone but doesnt know how to be loved
blair was soo upset when hecame to her after and apologized. they looked as sad as they did in the first episode of season 2 !
chuck looked like he was gonna cry and it was awesome
i dont like the whole lily rufus thing its kinda disgusting eww it like let your kids aka dan and serena be together gosh!
hmmm what else?...
vanesssa again had no point in the plot and i think jenny and eric are perfect, but nooo they had to make him gay darn :(
jack is like the rest of the basses in the sence that hes coniving and likes brunettes with brown eyes
i was grossed out at the prospect that he liked blair omg thats just nasty
hopefully within the season or maybe even in the beginning of next season theyll be together
they will most likely be together this season yay!
oh and on spoilertv.blogspot there was a post about a couple getting together in the future that noone would expect
i expect its chuck and blair

ok i really hope people don't stop watching the show because of this episode... i mean i was frustrated too because of what happened, but i still think most of it was necessary. it was just one of those episodes that are painful to watch right now but that need to happen so that better ones can follow. and i think next week's episode is going to be better than it looks in the promo. and as loyal fans of gossip girl, we can't just give up after one episode! the show will redeem itself, it always does :)

if pple stop watching GG cuz of this one epi then they will lose their ratings and how many pple who tune in. you say that u wont watch it because u think c&b wont be together (they prob will be together they are the main core, and i think they already comfirmed it) then if u stop watching they DEFINTALY wont be together becuz soon enof the show will cancel. =( and you would never see c&b together evaa=(
now that'd be bad.

Well...To b honest I LOVIN THIS!!!! The whole jack-blair-chuck drama is awesome!!
Jack is cruel...but he likes Blair...so he wont give up so easy, *by the way he hates chuck cuz his nephew got everything he wants right now which is blair+bass industries! ! (Did you all get my point????...)
CHAIR...is not over at all!!!...this is just gettin started!
So ppl dont get crazy...we must watch all the upcoming episodes...

Awesopme episode! Jack is much of an asshole but I like him, the show gets spicier!
I hope we'll see Chair very soon but if we don't, well, we all know it's just a matter of time, at the end of the season they'll be back together for sure!
Now I just wants to know: -what's Blair's new year scret?
-how will Chuck kick Jack out?
-what about Dan/Serena?
And people, keep watching, B/C is just a matter of time, they will end up together! Don't lose hope otherwise they might cancel the show for the lack of audience!

Ok..rewatched episode and am actually excited because Chuck looks like he's ready to kick ass at the end of the episode. He's hit rock bottom...the discovery of him with drugs and hookers is it, next episode will be good and I cannot wait!
