Gone with the Will

Was anyone else, after Rufus kisses Lily was like HELLZ YESSSS!!! IT'S ABOUT FRICKIN TIME!!!!!

Because seriously, I said that. Out loud.

RxL is where gossip girl's true heart lies.

And I'm sorry for all the current anguish of fans being PO'd at the end of the episode, but I don't think that Chair are done. Their anguish, as drawn out as it is, is what keeps the plot moving and keeps the viewers coming back for more. I don't think the producers would kill it if only becuase they don't want to piss off half their viewing population. [Remember when they killed Marissa? Yeah. Killing Chair would amount to the same thing.]

Has anyone else noticed they haven't slept together this entire season? Can you IMAGINE the fireworks when they get finally together? I'm guessing it'll be the last episode of the season.

As for the 'which couple is getting together?' What would amuse me is if Chuck get's help from V for plotting Jacks' downfall and ends up seducing her, and then Nate can be all self-riteous and break up with her, and then start dating either Serena or Blair.

Esse, even as a way to bring V  and J down, I would hate to see Vanessa and Chuck together! Ick. They got too close to that at the start of the season for my personal comfort level.

Totally think Blair was right to reject Chuck this time (though I'd like them to work it out eventually).

Just read a funny review of the episode is you guys wanna check it out: http://thedopebox.com/index.php/2009/01/13/gossip-girl-gone-with-the-will-%e2%80%93-prostitutes-and-text-messages-ruin-everything/

    DOWN WITH JACK [B]ASS!

    DOWN WITH JACK [B]ASS!

That man is on my list.

And no eff-ing way is Vanessa getting her groove on with Chuck, she already stole Nate.

    Chuck + Blair

    Nate + Serena

    Dan + Vanessa

[sigh] Life would be so much greater without Jack [B]ass. But then again, it makes good television.

    DOWN WITH JACK [B]ASS!

I'm betting that the next episode will be just as suckish as 2x06. You know, with the visiting and the friend-to-friend scandal.

Honestly, an ENGLISH teacher drama? How bad can it be? Probably very bad.

And probably no C/B action. Maybe a glare in the hallway, maybe a fleeting look. Probably not much. I mean, they've satisfied the demand for three straight episodes, now they're going to take a break.

Maybe some Uncomfortable Brady Bunch stuff, what with Dan and Srena and Alex and Jenny and Rufus and Lily. Were it a contest between Rufus/Lily and Dan/Serena, I would totally choose Rufus/Lily. Serena/Nate is kinda cute, actually. Nate and Vanessa are okay, but Dan/Serena turns my stomach. Bland, bland, bland, bland.

Anyways. I was literally whooping out loud, saying 'That's my B!' (earning a glare from my mom, but whatever) when Blair dumped Chuck. He has been taking her waaaaay for granted recently, and although I have an unbelievable crush on Chuck Bass, still, he really has been using her as emotional support and forgetting she's there at the same time.

Does anyone know what dress Blair was wearing when she was going to have dinner with chuck but he cancelled.  I want to buy it but I don't know who makes it.

If GG were real, I really wish Blair didn't take Chuck back, no matter what he'll do or say. I WAS with a Chuck type for years (yeah, I'm pushing 30 here but we're all in love with the show, right?)...and they never DO change. They say the do, they do for a while and just as you think you've got it right and are happy they do some totally selfish unexpected mean thing to break your heart.

BUT, since GG is fictional, here's my 3-version take on the near future:

    1) Chuck will miss Blair and realise she brings the best in him. He'll go back after her with everything in his arsenal: flowers, jewels, great words ...He'll get Bass Inc back and tell her it's all nothing without her by his side... She's bait.

    2) Blair will fight to resist but then he'll do something really sweet like maybe say ILY (remember how sweet he was on her Bdya last year?) and she won't resist.

    3) I have a real feeling Chuck will propose to her. Maybe he'll show up in the evening after her being accepted into Yale to say congrats. And he'll bring her some fab present like a necklace that says ILY on the back, and go into some heart-felt but  semi-commital thing like ' Our last conversation got me thinking and one day, when we're really, I'll be so lucky if you were my wife' (see his dad's wedding speach last year)....and here we go again.

All in all, of course they're not done, although, from personal experience, people like Chuck never really do grow up
