Hey!
Here (Greece) we are watching the 1st Season (4th episode). BUT... when I fisrt saw it...that was it!!!! I stuck!!!! so..I got the 18th epsiodes from the internet and watched them in less 1,5 day!!! Then I saw the 2nd season ( 5th episode by now). It is great! I love Serena! I think that many-many things will happen in the way. I have some thougths....and I cant wait to see whats next!!! But in the end I predict that(whenever it comes) D & S plus B & C will end up together...but not too easy!!! :)

Here's what I think about "New Haven Can Wait"...
1st - I love that Serena and Blair finally worked it out... I hated them competing against every little thing! Although I have to admit the catfight between the two of them was pretty hilarious! Kudos!
2nd - I love the fact that Dan & Nate are friends. Except for the fact that my poor Chuck Bass is being left at the sidelines. I did, however, love his little scheme he pulled off with the Skull N' Bones... way classy C.
3rd - I'm so glad to see that Rufus finally sees Jenny's potentil. ALl thanks to Lily Bass. And for some strange reason I really want Rufus and Lily to be together. But it would be super awkward for Dan and Serena.

yup... i'm glad Blair and Serena are friends again. some of the things they did/say to each other are pretty harsh. makes me really sad to see them treating each other like that. well, at least they managed to work it out after that catfight.
i never really thought Nate and Dan would be friends... they never really have anything in common until now. this is something very interesting. i can't wait to see wat Chuck Bass would do next.
Finally Rufus agrees to let Jenny continue working for Eleanor. i guess Rufus and Lily do still have feelings for each other, otherwise Rufus wouldn't have given any serious thoughts of letting Jenny to be home-schooled.

I didn't like this episode... I feel there were a too many gaps in the story, and so random. Yeah, I don't get why Vanessa needed to appear at all, and the whole new girl n Nate makin' out 5 sec. after meeting each other... Should've put that on the reality checklist. Minus 2
Is lily going to get to wear that lbd out? We see her putting it away sadly and wearing that shocking pink, white, blue floral sack... urgh that dress is horrible! She should definitely swap with Serena...
Serena wearing jeans and cfm boots to Yale meet-the-dean? and that dress is a bit too low cut... but if that's the image the Dean likes... Yes there is a strange infatuation quality the dean portrays on the phone while looking at her pics in the news... creepy~
I liked the fact Chuck was loyal enough to not rat Nate out to get humiliated, but Nate was right in saying why did he have to pick Humphrey. Disappointed Chuck didn't get much spotlight this week, but it does seem he will in the next episode.
Vanessa & Chuck? Case of opposites attract? Or that now they're complete outcasts they are just too lonely?
And that new girl with Nate... somehow I feel the new found friendship of N & D will get tested along the way... She seems more Dan's bookish type, and I'm not sure it's just coincidence this fact was put in there. I reckon Dan will win out and Nate will have to go back to allying with Chuck again.
Jenny gets to design! yay! I still feel the scene of Eleanor n Rufus ended a bit abruptly, and was just unrealistic...she's a mother too and can not imagine her letting B quitting school to 'chase dreams', lucky for her, B's dream is YALE...and how does she know Rufus had dreams when he was young too? but her bitchiness comes thru... guess that's where B gets it from.I do like how in the end all it took was Lily to convince Rufus... yay for Lil! Oh n that sexy black dress... oh what was in the envelope lil J was meant to give the maid Larissa? just wondering if she planned the whole setup as Plan B or pure coincidence n luck? Does that mean she planned the whole one ugly vs. hot dress too to tempt Lily to try it on n have Rufus walk in? So unrealistic... I say minus 5. A 15 year old to come up with that plan... even with Vanessa's help... bah~
The CATFIGHT... and i really hate ur headbands... oh no my headband! Geeze this was the most ridiculous fight...and noone from the party peeks their head out n just leaves them unattended? Unrealistic...n very lame... I would've thought it'd be the highlight of any party!
FAV quote: "This is Yale, in case u haven't noticed, we traffic in brick buildings full of professors, I suggest u put on ur walking shoes...head to the Eng dept n find someone to read ur work..." Are Deans realistically this witty too?

Oh forgot to add... Jordan the new girl; already states...Nate Archibald? "why does that name sound familiar..." how can she not know who he is!!! Does she only read books n not newspapers? Does Dan still get a chance after he blew his meeting with the Dean? So getting one more letter is all he really needs? He wasn't very articulate in his meeting either... I hope he gets in, but seems like a slim chance? Maybe all he needs to do is get back with Serena and tell the Dean he's her bf... or maybe not~ lol
Oh n I don't get how easily these kids get over relationships... what happened to Blair's lord? Vanessa feels nothing for Dan or Nate? Dan has forgotten about Serena? Chuck still mean to Blair? and Nate, I know just needed the money but what about Catherine or Vanessa? So how realistic is it when the adults can still carry a flame for each other over 20 years but the kids forget n move on so quickly?
What's happened to Eric VdW and the clique of Blair? I hope they come up again in the future... i love B's maid...she rocks~ where is she from with that accent?

There is another 2 week break until the next episode.. my stupid DBR cut off right before next weeks preview!! I will go crazy if i have to wait another 2 weeks for the next one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was looking forward to this episode because the cast was going to visit Yale. Although the plot twists and snappy lines were still top notch, I wish that the things that happened at yale were more realisitic. I mean, the handwritten letter from the dean? Come on!
I'm also disappointed the in the downturn that blairs style has taken. The green outfit she wears to her interview is painfully prudish! The green skirt paired with the beige shoes also make her legs seem short and clunky.
But Nate's style just seems to get better and better! I would take that blue argyle sweater off him too...
And Dan's brown suit was horrible...
The high point of this epsiode was the cat fight between Blair and Serena, and Dan being tied half naked to a statue. Although as our favorite review of the show mentions, it would have been much more realistic if he was actually naked...
