Really iluvCHAIR, you aren't seeing the big picture here...Chuck's father died, he has no one, or rather he thinks that no one wants him/needs him...he has very low self esteem right now. Give it a break. His dad just died, real life doesn't work like you want it and this show is actually does a good job with not being like all the other soap operas (the reason why I actually watch it). What Lily tried to tell Chuck is true, he just can't see it now and yes, the writer's are going to take a while to develop the grieving process for Chuck (like Anonymous said earlier in this forum)...go read that post
