I've said it in many other threads: this episode was fantastic.  It was fantastic because of the other elements of the shows rather than the ships.  It was fantastic because of the interactions in friendships, interaction between the families, etc.

They are bringing back the GG I loved in season 1.

Chuck got with an ugly whore he slept with last year which means nothing ..THANK GOD!

he was such a nice guy in the end of this episode.. appologizing to Jenny and giving Nate advice :)

I wish Blair could've seen how much of an asshole Nate was though..leaving Chuck to "get another drink" but instead leaving to get with Blair!!!! giant D-bag.

    Hi everyone

I haven't watched this episode yet but reading from the summaries posted, some people (Poppy and Gabriel) are plotting a plan against Serena. Does this seem a bit too similar to whole Serena-Georgina storyline last season?

I was hoping that the introduction of Gabriel into GG would be a bit more interesting (though not hoping for a quickie wedding) rather than a scheme to get Serena into trouble. Gabriel and Poppy (judging by the summaries) look to be the new Georgina.

Gabriel kind of bothers me a little bit.  I don't know if it's the way he talks or what..

Saw this last night. (I live in Canada.)

It was just okay, slightly disappointing how lame the whole Seder storyline was. I liked the interactions, but seriously, it was far from fantastic because it was just another filler episode. I suppose it was pretty much spoiled beforehand because of the photos and the many spoilers due to anticipation. My spoilery comments:- Nate and his consistency of being inconsistent and fickle-minded. It's so easy to convince him, so easy for him to change his mind.- And as always, Serena takes in things out of context, gets the wrong ideas, jumps to conclusions and makes problems out of NOTHING. Is that how boring her personality really is, she needs the imagination to make up for it? She thought she killed this guy, she thought Dan and Rachel were doing something at the restaurant, and then that thing last night.

    - I'm not even bothered by Garbiel and Poppy or whatever the hell they're plotting against Serena because everything that happens with Serena is something so trivial that just gets blown out of proportion.

    - Chuck and Jenny bonding? Awkward and weird... but at least there's some sort of closure there?

    - "She could have had me, but she chose you." Awww. That was an interesting scene though.- Dorota fell in love! LOL.- I still find Blate/Nair endearing, so I'm still okay with it. Perhaps Chuck could do a little bit of soulsearching first until Nate changes his mind eventually. Because he will, he's just not strong enough of a character. LOL.

Ok, so I'm really bummed that it is apparently lame. The promo made it out to be some big deal.

And its some random girl that Chuck sleeps with!?! :( I mean, if it wasn't Blair, I would have been sad, but at least it would have been interesting.

And today, I was looking at wikipedia, and I found this synopsis about tonight's episode.

Serena returns from her trip to Spain with Poppy (guest star Tamara Feldman) and Gabriel (guest star Armie Hammer). Blair makes a secret deal with Nate’s grandfather, William (guest star James Naughton), and Nate learns some disturbing information about his father’s arrest. Dan takes a job as a cater-waiter to earn money for college, but is distressed when he discovers the gig is a Passover seder at the Waldorf penthouse and several of his friends and family are guests

Dan is working at Blair's?? Did anyone know about this!?

And this is the synopsis for the finale:

Serena tries to unmask Gossip Girl while her and Nate try to figure out their relationship after exchanging "I love you"s.

The entire synopis, which didn't print, is this:

Serena returns from her trip to Spain with Poppy and Gabriel. Blair makes a secret deal with Nate's grandfather. Dan takes a job to earn money for college. Blair and Chuck decide to work together to try to dig up dirt and expose Gabriel, Serena's new love interest. Nate realizes there is a something between Chuck and Blair and he competes with him for her affections by asking Blair to move in with him. This causes a genuine rivalry between the two of them, thus beginning a game of Who Will Win The Waldorf. Georgina Sparks returns as a newly reformed girl and Cyrus Rose makes his appearance once again.
